Hi guys, I’m just wondering if any of you know which grow light out of the two in the photos below would produce the best quality buds and yields possible? Any help if much appreciated!
Happy growing
Check out this thread, they were talking about the two.
I know a bit about the hlg650r, but I haven’t been able to work out what’s best or which one which will produce the best quality and yields.
Sorry buddy , I know nothing about LED lights…
I can tag someone that does…
@dbrn32 can you help this person out… ?
Thanks
Haha too easy, thanks man
@Harrison1 the growctaft is only 600W , the HLG sound like a better bang for the buck, correction that is a 1000W light WTF , dude are you going to run some C02
Haha yea man I’m going to have c02, planing on using the xl bags of it still not too sure which light is is superior for the bigger and best quality yields tho, been debating on which lights out of these two to buy for quite some time now
Both lights are essentially same tech, chilled tech x6 1000 is just more powerful fixture. X6 also has larger spread on les, should be considered an advantage.
@dbrn32 with such powerful led lights, do you have to get the plants used to the light at all? I heard this somewhere so your probably the person to ask, and how would you do this if so? Also, once the plants are used to the light, you wouldn’t have to do that process over and over again would you, you know, if you do have to train the plants with such strong/bright led lights?
I have HLG lights. I’m new to the led. I like the lights. I know the old stuff where a lot hotter and more expensive to run. I didn’t like one of the yellow like spectrum on old lights sometimes gave off. I was going to go with the Mars on my next lights. But I think I’m staying with HLG
Minimum light is required for veg. I veg everything with one or two hlg 65 4ks no joke. Also a super powerful light could burn your plants, definitely if they are small plants. Start out with low wattage and as they get bigger you turn it up. Hopefully by late flower you will be using the lights full potential.
Yes. You can use dimmer to gradually increase intensity.
Okay awesome, thanks heaps for the help
