Any tips on brand on type with or without veg and bloom switch
Do you have a budget in mind
Not really
Here’s a very basic idea…
Best Warranty and great coverage
(2) HLG 750 Diablo $1992.00 1460 watts
Awesome coverage mediocre warranty
(2) Mars Hydro FC 8000 EVO $1478 1600 watts
(2) Spider Farmer SE7000 EVO $1320 1460 watts
Budget; Awesome Coverage mediocre warranty
(2) Spider Farmer G8600 $1140 1600 watts
(2) Mars Hydro FC E8000 $1080 1600 watts
Budget, Good Coverage mediocre warranty
(2) Mars Hydro FC-E6500 $980 1460 watts
There are tons more. You’d want to shop for 2 lights that claim to be for a 5x5 as most of them will have a core coverage of 4x4.
Lots of variables. Like, do you want to max it out? (Like this list) or do you just want a couple plants and a place to walk and set up equipment inside?
Yes to walk around and be comfortable then a tight area for me and my plants
Ideal plant count and yield goals? Are you looking to use one side (4x4) or are you trying to use the back wall, in a line like a 2x8 leaving a walkway in front of them roughly 2x8 as well.
You are definitely the light guru here. I’ve bookmarked many of your posts for that reason.
I appreciate that comment, however through my frugal nature in a variety of situations I have researched and weighed the pros and cons while taking my particular take on the hobby into consideration.
through my fixations I’ve learned a lot. I like to share that stuff when ever the opportunity presents itself. I’m a coverage nut beyond brand. So if an off brand fixture based on math presents itself as a better option for coverage regardless of efficiency I’ll take it. Efficiency really only plays a roll when running several fixtures.
@Low you from da islands but on your reply no sure yet on the isle orback wall style
I’m not. Well, think on it buddy. There are endless combinations to utilizes. Really hard to just make a suggestions without goals in mind.
And if you could tell.me wats wrong with my baby i see something on the leaves but rookie at this
@Low and this is wat i have laying ariunthe farm
Depending on the viparspecta model, it may be able to handle one plant. The tube lights are only good for early propagation. Your plant is signaling signs of stress, resulting in 3 fingered leaves where there should be 5. This could be an imbalance in light, environment, or feed. Seldomly, however, it is a genetic expression. I also see some bug damage (the trailing on the lower leaf) the brown edge of the other leaf I wouldn’t be concerned with.
So captain jacks spray is good ?
Jacks dead bug
Great stuff!
So that will help my plant
@Low wat about viparspectra p seriers lights or ks series
The ks5000 has a core coverage of a 3x3 some do use it for 4x4
