I’m with you. If these do what we think, we’ll be glass free. And the dark room/closet/cupboard is a lot easier with the “turn-your-back” black side. Do we have to keep our bags in a cold/cool place? How cool? In the summer the RV is always warm and the grow room is too hot.
Just checked bag RH and it’s 58%. That’s cool, right?

yes try to keep in a room temperature area…I believe high heat will cause the terps to dry out in the bag no matter what the bag tries to do

your grow room is perfect for all your auto varieties…one light schedule from start to finish no matter the age of the plant…

did you stick a bud with the moisture meter to see what it read…
Do you feel I should be going 20/4 or 18/6 – will it make a lot of difference? I’m really fighting the Southern heat right now, waiting for another AC to arrive.
I have settled on 18/6.,…for my first 2 grows I was running 24/0 but I realized if you are going to run 24/0 then everything else must be spot on…well I only have so much control of my environment so 18/6 is better for my setup.
Just checked 11.2 and 11.4

What do you mean by spot on – and how does 18/6 help? A little less light (daytime hours) would really help me with heat control.

Hi there. Grove bags from about 8 months ago read 62%. I have some in baggie, in glass jar and rh reads 68. so back into bag. So glad there are people out there that invent ways to make our lives easier.

this is the first summer with both tents running with lights and the room is 82F …I have to get the rest of the house too cold to keep the grow room temp down…so I have been running the emergency window AC to keep the grow room temp around 72-73F…I have a back up generator that can power the kitchen , furnace and the grow room if there is ever a loss of power, winter or summer…I will sleep in the grow room since it will be the only room with AC

MJ is a plant that can tolerate 24 hrs of light but to do this all of its needs must be perfect…temperature, humidity, CO2 level, nutrient mix and everything else that it needs. Going to 18/6 she can tolerate it being not perfect better
Hahaha – cool info. And, yes, God bless entrepreneurs.
to me going to the bags is just like when I quit my HPS lights and went to LED…what a difference
Oh I so get this. My grow room is always in the 80s, even with an AC. And, the room isn’t that big. The lights are just killers. I had to order another ac to run in the daytime. Thus, if I could chuck the lights for 4-6 hours it would be wonderful. I too have to keep my studio so dang cold to feed the room. Can’t handle it.
We’re installing our solar system so well also always have power to run the grow room and parts of the RV. And, of course, I have a gas generator – if all else fails. But, with gas prices, I need to count on the sun.
Ignore all the construction zone crap, please. This will track the sun with six to 8 panels. We should be able to put out about 2000 watts, we think. My grow room is at the back of the barn.

Don’t be. This is much harder to learn than growing. We sold solar in the 80’s and thought we knew what was going on. Amazing how much things can change in 40 years – dang 40 years. I am so old.

Great setup you have there. Nice to know that you can grow without power outages. Cost of electricity only going to go up… great growing

Ah Count, TY. It’s not cranking yet but should be in a week or so. Waiting on more panels and some wiring.
I just got a big surprise – G2 #12 White Widow. I went in the room to check on all the girls and #12 was all dried out (watered two days ago) – buds, leaves, etc. And, her trichs were Amber. They were not 2 days ago. So, I cut her down. She’s 4.2 oz before any trim/stem removal.
Why would she have dried out like that @Retiredoldguy @Reed71 @Newt

that is a good question…but you are dealing with auto’s…is this one next to a fan or heat source that could have dried it out sooner by mistake???
