The only thing keeping me from hydro is the fact that organics don’t usually work well in hydro.
I bet organic hydro weed is delicious, though!

I think it’s how it clogs air stones & such, that causes the problem.

I know from bubbling my Earth Juice for 2 days that the airstones get really nasty.
Looking into lots of other nutes that will work for my grow. I won’t try hydro for at least a year, so plenty of time to learn…and stalk people on this forum.

I have only had to adjust my ph one time in 3.5 weeks. And it only took 1ml cause it was only off by half a decimal. But mine is 65 gallons roughly.

This has been about what I’ve been doing, even going as long as 4-5 days. But my pH is generally elevated by the next day. I’ve all but given up on trying to keep it under 6.
My mom doesn’t grow but she’s been a toker since I was a kid. She knows several growers and even spent time in CA trimming.
One time, when I was 9 years old, my aunt gave me a couple joints and told me to hide them until mom was in a bad mood. (I wouldn’t try this these days, a 9yo is likely to just smoke them!!) As you can imagine, my mother had quite the mix of emotions when her kid handed her a couple joints!! 
I didn’t start until I was 19 and didn’t smoke with her until I was 21 (when my younger sister was ‘old enough’ to break out the bong with mom) She’s also tended my plants when I was out of town for 10 days a few years ago… she prefers not to have to do that. And she doesn’t mind having to sleep on the couch when she visits because there’s not enough space in the spare room with the tent taking up most of the room. She gets a bit of every harvest

That and the plan is to only change water out at flowering transition. So far so good on that plan.

Its something you check everyday in a single bubble bucket with only 2.5 gals. If you cant keep it down its more than likely a root problem
Friday mixed nutes and just poured into res’s, did a PH adj (.25ml PH down per 6 gals) Saturday it was 5.9 in one and 6 the other added about 2.5ml more to each and today they were both 5.8
My RDWC couldn’t be simpler and grows big-ass plants. Its really not any harder than soil that I see grower’s mix here

Thinking about trying a 5 gallon dwc in my next grow, and the rest keeping with promix. It might have to wait til next fall, though. Either way, I plan on adding at least one dwc plant to my grow, eventually.
