there are so many promix “models” which one do u use?
Promix bx with mycorrizae, and I add about 15% perlite. I’d have just gone with hp, but my local shop only had really old hp; the bx was only a few weeks from manufacture.
so then whats the “best” promix
I have no idea.
If you can get it, get the Promix HP, then you don’t have to add any perlite to it. That’s the stuff most of us use with great results.

If they have it fresher, next time I will. The only HP they had was manufactured 3/17, but the BX was from 7/18.

Hey there young lady! I’ll be following, best of luck!
I’m not a hydro grower, so take this with a grain of salt…but I was wondering what your nute solution was looking like, specifically if you’re using a lot of silica?
Silica will drop ph significantly when added to solution. From talking with a couple of the other hydro growers, it seems like when silica is removed from solution it creates the big ph swing. That can happen from uptake or the silica precipitating out of the solution.
I don’t suggest you remove the silica as your plants will do better with it. But I would suggest if you’re using it to try and keep an eye out for iy precipitating out of solution. You can usually combat that with your nute mixing order and making sure your solution is mixed well before adding each bottle or dose.

I am having a hard time following that so I’ll try again tomorrow. But I can tell you what I’m feeding (because I wrote it down!) 
6 gallons water
70 ml Sensi Grow A & B
20 ml calmag
10 ml hydroguard
3 ml Flying Squirrel z7 1 & 2
No silica. I have power si but stopped using it a few weeks ago. I don’t think I can say how it’s affected my pH because I have so many other variables.

Yes! That’s the one… yes, I think I will. I think it’s cool to see how we all compare at the same stage. It’s not so easy when we’re at different starts
