Gold leaf grow first time photo

This is my first time growing “Gold Leaf”. It is a photoperiod seed. Kept it in a cup of water for about 2 days or so then planted the seed in some “Happy frog” soil from “Fox Farm”. Currently just about to finish week 2 of seedling stage.

Nice healthy looking plant. Welcome to the community. I would fill those pots with soil. They are going to need it. Just leave maybe 1-2 inches at the top. I also just plant in my life cycle pot when I plant the sprouts and don’t transplant and they always do good. Good luck happy growing

I’m about 2 weeks deep into my 1st Gold Leaf. Actually just chopped her head off about 10 minutes ago :sunglasses::face_with_peeking_eye::grin:

And Welcome to the community :green_heart::metal:t2:

Welcome to the neighborhood. I am on my second gold leaf grow. It’s going a little slow because of the high temperatures. Your plant looks very happy. Here are my two gold leaf babies.:v:

So just a little update for my golden leaf that is doing very well. After topping and cutting off the bigger leaves blocking the light from the lower branches. This is my fourth grow all together on the account of it just becoming legal in the state of MN last year.

I got a 400w MH light and 400w HPS light when i need to swotch it over to flower phase ready to go.
I have been using robert bergmans nutrients also with the fox farm big bloom and the fox farm grow big and sometimes need to ph up the water a tinge to get it in the 6 to 7 range.

I also had a coworker that i guess just planted a random seed he found in a tin he had in his dresser drawer that he just threw in a pot and it started right up but he didnt have anything or anywhere to keep it or know how to take care of it. So i took that one in also cause it was almost down to a the exact date as mine was old. But without him topping it at all it just was growing straight up till i got it and i quickly repotted it in a better container and topped it like a few days later as to not stress it out too much all at once. But i am having an issue with it that the leaves are folding up like tacos almost and dont know what cpuld be causing that. Any ideas??? And i there are a few fungus gnats flying around also that have been an issue on my last 2 grows i did. Does anyone out there have a solution to get rid of them for good and that is absolutely 100% works everytime? They even in small numbers effect the plants greatly comparing the first 2 grows yields to the last 2 grows yields.
