Hello I hope everybody is doing well. I have a question about a light. I’m wondering if anybody has used this light or knows anything about it and if it’s any good for a 2 by 3 flowering tent? Thank you so much for your feedback I do appreciate
I have 3 of them that I use as supplemental lights they’re ok for one plant, but if you’re wanting to grow more I would get the 2000 it’ll cover that area better.
I’m on a super tight budget. I actually purchased 2 300 watt LEDs without knowing much about them. So I figured if I get the spider farmer and put it in between the two 300s I might be okay.
@dbrn32 is the light expert, let’s ask him.
I think your initial response was on point. On a tight budget I would certainly give it a shot with one and the old lights.
Thank you for the feedback
Thank you
Don’t wanna hijack thread, @dbrn32 I have a light question-
Is 460 wall watts (4k advertised watts) too much for a 3x3 tent?
Depends on radiometric efficacy of lamp, without that hard to say. If it falls in line with hps that is about right.
By the way I pulled the trigger on that light. Wish me luck. LOL
You’re welcome, and welcome to the fun of growing your own.
New to lights so not sure what that means but I do know I get 64k lux at canopy with light at 20" using Lux meter app.
Is that an app you have on your phone? I downloaded one on my phone but not quite sure how accurate it is
That’s pretty good. All the way across canopy or us that just in highest location?
All the way across.
@larry1, on a summer day at high noon, this meter reads 65k lumen. It’s pretty accurate from what I have experienced.
That doesn’t look like the one I downloaded. Is that on Google Play Store? I have an Android.
Yes for Android- 4.7 star rating
Uses light sensor, not camera like other apps.
Thank you very much
Thanks @NavyVet420. I just downloaded that App. Semper Fi
