Foxtailing mess! What would you do

So here is this Gorilla Z from Fastbuds…

She is around week 7ish of flower and just throwing tails everywhere! My fault I think because I gave the tent a nitrogen boost a while back and she did not need it, so my question is… how long is too long, cause she is just gonna keep throwing pistils and foxtails for a while. She is mostly cloudy on the older bud but of course on the tails she is clear. Thoughts welcome!!

Lower light intensity and let her ride.

That’s what I did, cut out nitrogen as well. She has some dark green at the bottom.

Foxtailing is a very common for Autoflowers. I think it’s almost mandatory that it happens. Typically in week 7 of flower I’ll reduce my light to 75% and it’s still seems to happen. The more intense the light the faster the foxtailing continues. Like @Budbrother said, the less intensity of the light the foxtailing will slow down extremely.

I’ve come to the conclusion that foxtails is nothing but more bud for your harvest :face_with_peeking_eye:

Only seems to happen to my autos. My photos in the tent are just getting fat, also my other atlas auto is building normal big fat buds. I have definitely seen this trait on a lot of my Fastbuds plants I have grown. I always back the lights down as well in the end days.

Fastbuds don’t seem to care, they just make foxtails. Makes for fun trimming I guess lol. I have some RAW Nitrogen that I usually add a lil around the stretches. This one did not need it  but she got it all the same. On the lower nodes she is showing a lil nitrogen toxicity which can cause all kinds of issues.

Just something else I learned about advanced nutrients, you don’t really need to supplement like other nutrient lines. So noted, just use the chart and quit adding crap

I lower light intensity and raise the light up higher in the tent. Nitrogen is a nono. Good Luck!

With all the organic feeds I have used in the past the plants like a lil nitrogen boost at stretch. Using Advanced Nutrients they do not need the boost at all. It is a great line! I lowered the ppfd to 550-600 ppfd or 30 dli and pulled the light above 2ft over the canopy.
