Flowering, lighting intensity and cycle

Any help is appreciated. My hybrid auto flowers are doing good. I’ve been growing with 18/6 cycle and intensity between 1500 at center and 800-1000 on the sides. They just finished 7 weeks and I’ve trimmed them. The focus is on tops.

For the next 4 weeks or until ready to harvest do I need to gradually increase light intensity during flowering?

Also I’ve read many sources that say lighting cycle does not need to be changed on autos. I currently have them at 18/6. Any thoughts? Does changing it to say 12/12 do anything at this point ? Or just leave it at 18/6.

My autos do fine on 18/6 all the time. I just adjust height as they grow.

Are those numbers the PAR readings?

@PRSTICKY welcome to the community 18/6 is good for autos I do autos I’m try 24/0 trust me is 100% better but is all about light bill lmaooo

18/6 is fine, no need to go 12/12 with autos.
But it only takes a par reading of about 800 to make good nugs. Anything over 1000 is overkill unless you feeding extra strength nutes and running co2 with a perfect environment …

@HMGRWN @Nicky anyone Not check the tent grow. Everyday. I am down there fussing over everything. I have defolatioted the big girls a lot brought the LED LIght closer now we will see, even when i try not to check i am making my way downstairs again

Several times a day for me.

Its like i cant relax unless i check them

People talk about Co2 i have one of those enlighten Co2 bags hanging does it help

Not one bit my freind I’m sry to say…

But co2 is a waist of money unless everything is absolutely dialed in and cranked up. If ya get the bags free then why not, bit I wouldn’t spend any money on co2.

Co2 is only needed if you have crazy amount of light going on. Save your money

Keep doin what ur doin leave the light cycle the way it is and happy growing

@SilvaBack203 the C02 came with I figured why not. I mean It can’t hurt them?

It definitely want hurt anything

We learn as we attempt things so go 4 it. Can probably increase yield who knows

I use co2 bag because I don’t ventilate, my bushy girls hyperoxygenate closet so add co2, but if you are venting fresh air in you got all the co2 you need. Bags don’t put out great amounts but I believe it helps my grow.

I am retired Spud. I have my flower 4x8 in my gaming room. After 33 years of marriage…my house lol. I check all the time lights on and adjust…move…hug/squeeze/love them and call them George. Very relaxing. I never stress them. They have issues i am alway there so i just givem time after remedies to talk to me. Mine like Cbs Radio Mystery Theater…

Just sharing a few pics. They completed 7week and now in week 8. Defoliated and bottom cleared out. They are getting 18/6 lighting. Any thoughts.

They look pretty happy to me.
