5x5 is ready and germination station set . Just dropped the following;
3x lusty lady , 3x yikes , 3x omfg and 3x pop star ( exotic )
4x banana runtz , 3x space buns , 3x trich beast ( solfire )
5x 10g’s ( compound )
I know for sure the compound genetics has bad germination more specifically for the gastro line which 10gs is from . This is actually a replacement pack . I mean imagine paying 100 bucks for a 3pk having 2 extra beans in it and all 5 was duds . so this is to see if they redeem themself at all but i still probably wont be spending their again . Far too much other top tier genetics for even a little cheaper to be messing with that .
Well i just added 3x mad dog in yesterday cause i know for sure that the compound genetics has terrible germ rates . Actuslly the whole gastro line did . After chris left they took a plunge in stability as far as thats concerned . But if they do go its like next level fire .
So ideally i want to do 26ish plants like last grow and they will all be in 7 gallon pots . It just is so much more practical to start them in a 5x5 while they go from 4 inch to 1 gallon containers . Then after topping and they start outgrowing it they go to the 6x11 room where i have 2 of the 8 bar mammoths mint white series. Once they outgrow the 1 gallons is when they go to their 7 gallons and then once they outgrow the 6x11 i split them up to the 7x11 room with 3 growers choice roi-720s.
Last grow i had 1 big plant that i just couldjt make fit so it went to the 5x5 with a 480 watt flexstar. Turned out 8 oz from it . But this last light found a brand new vs4500 i traded an oz for and im wondering if i can fit in the 5x5 with the flexstar for more ummph . Or i might squeeze it between the mammoths but they flowered that room great on their own last year so im still uncertain what im doing with it .
Im an strickly 100 percent organic photoperiod type . I did 4 autos last grow because one of the guys at my local hydro store is a licensed grower that was given 500 extra beans and gave me 20 . I didnt want to be unappreciative so i grew some and i was actually pretty happy with the way they turned out .
But i like being in control with a long 7-8 week veg , like to top allot , train , then strip everything but the top around foot of canopy . Just the way its been working good for me so far . Im still a newbie this is my 4th . Well i did a couple outdoors at about the sams time as my 2nd and 3rd but yeah im very very happy with my program and turn outs thus far . Heres those 4 autos i squezzed in last go .
Then @Bonjoyle between you field and a couple others i used to feel like a straight up bug with all the questions i had on my first grow . I felt such a pest that i almost wanted to swat myself lol
No swatting, unlike rollitup or reddit, this forum is for exactly that. Questions and convo on how to be successful. Luckily we have like 10,908 combined years of experience in this forum and trolls dont last. I love it here. This is my only social media. All of the pics you posted are freaking amazing!!
