The girls are growing up so fast thanks to all the help from the guy’s on ILGM helping with advice and recommendations
this is only 5 days after the last picturesI have found in the past that all of GL do sometimes, after a couple weeks, they just start jumping out at you. You will probably will wind up with beautiful plants. Good luck. Keep it green.
Trying to update my journal every 9 to 14 days so I have a visual record of my grow .
This is the little Gold leaf that had such a rough start and the other girl are doing just fine . I have been very lucky with this grow . Had to put them in early flower due to timer and 16 hours of dark time but they seem to be doing just fine
If i may ask what method are you using? I tried cloning in rockwool with two clones and only 1 rooted but it took 4 weeks…
This is my first try just using cloning powder and a jiffy pot then put the little jiffy pot in fox farm ocean forest hoping it works @Bushgrower
Oh man you’re in for a treat @Oldstoner!
@ktreez420 you and the other guy’s on here saying to experiment with your grow and to try different things are the ones who made me decide to keep the one I was going to pull out of my grow to make more room and use it as a toy to learn on . So I am trying everything on this one a week before any of the others to see how it reacts . If it works good I will do it to the others . If not I will try to fix it and learn through that process while keeping a journal . One of these days I will have a bud that is a contender for bud of the month .
@ktreez420 also love watching your video on YouTube that one half dead plant that started growing again was different to be sure . Let me ask you are each one if these on the top of my plants going to be a cola or just a regular bud ? Or are they the same thing just a different size?
If they are all going to be the bigger bud I see in the pictures on here I will being doing the happy dance in my front yard cause this is the tops of the girlsI really wanted to do a video journal on YouTube, but I quickly realized if I wasn’t able to grow great bud, then I shouldn’t be trying to show/teach anyone about it! Now that I’m in hydro and have been doing so well with it I’m going to get back on top of my videos.
It makes me so happy to see others doing experiments and going outside of their comfort zone. Either way, you’ll learn something! And from what I see in your pictures, I count at least 5 cola sites @Oldstoner! You’re doing a great job dude, keep it up!
Thanks @ktreez420 the only reason they are even still alive is this forum you guy’s and the mentors are so on point with getting back to people with a solution for problems it really makes a big difference .
You’re doing great dude, have no doubts! I’ve been watching you, and I’m very impressed! Keep learning and asking questions and then learn some more lol! I think you’re doing great though, you’re like a student just absorbing the info, so it’s awesome to watch for someone like me who only wants to help
Hey you Oldstoner!! Just sayin’, I bought a bunch of peat pots when I first started. Let me tell you my experience / opinion. The peat pots dry out really quick so you have to spray like daily or twice a day.
When I planted the whole pot and plant, like I think you are supposed to with peat pots, upon watering, the whole plant and root ball floated right inside the peat pot. I have decided to go with plastic cups that are not clear cause I think they will work better. I do have about 48 peat pots though if you’re interested! lol
I used germination soil in the peat pot and that may have been part of my problem cause it dried out really quick too. I ended up just planting my seeds in FFOF directly. It was right in a 5 gal bucket. My seeds germinated just fine and the plants have done pretty well. So anyway, I am learning but with my limited experience I will be avoiding peat pots and germination soil. For what that is worth!!
Damn man I’m sorry to hear about your loss!
Sorry for your loss
