Is that soil your growing in it hard to tell
They look happy and thats a good start as most ppl over water
LEDs are great for veg, I still cant get over how well they grow under them
Try to take photos under normal light its hard to see color under Red Blue LEDs
I used to add a CFL Desk lamp for photos

Good Luck

@Iva yes sir it is ffof soil but it had little teeny tiny white bugs in it so I mixed DE. in with it and sprinkled a little bit on top to make sure they leave none for several days now and no critters will get better pics soon . Added extra perlite and mixed it all up extra good the small containers are just sitting on top of the dirt in the pot I will use to transplant into so I could learn how the humidity heat etc. we’re going to be in such a small area . The fan is actually keeping it around 72 to 78 RH. 45 to 55 . Been watering the empty pots a couple times to make sure I’m getting the PH right also .

@Iva here is a pic with led off

the scrawny one is the gold leaf and it popped first don’t know if it is just genetics or I am doing something wrong all have got the same treatment

They will aways be alittle different some good some bad some perfect they are the ones you clone
The white light makes it easier to see the colors.
Be careful not to over water thats the main problem most growers have
I have never grown with soil in pots other then my veggies I may give it a go when the weather warms up
My worm farm need to be emptied so it may be time to give soil a go.

That my next line up.

I read that in the Grow Bible . At first I think my problem might have been just the opposite I was letting them get almost dry by only spraying once a day now I give them four lite sprays a day of only 4 or 5 pumps with no nutrients yet

Thats why I like Coco I dont think its possible to over water and its simple
I used it for the first time last grow and it really worked well I was impressed
I think hydro is alittle better but no where near as easy as Coco
I fed 5 days per week about 2-4L per pot (5 gallon pots)
I highly recommend giving coco a go

I will definitely have to give that a try . I went kind of over board on the soil black gold for seedling stage Fox Farm Ocean Forest for the Grow . The wife just gave me that look when she found me using the vacuum sealer on dirt . She said just dump it in the garden for next year . I was thinking you got no idea how much this shit costs . Maybe I will just dump it in the garden and go to coco next time now though.

Try each type of growing they all work
In the 80s and 90s my friends all grew in soil, I read about hydro in hightimes then by 95 everyone was growing with it.
Pretty well killed off the outdoor growers because everyone wanted the indoor skunk

@Oldstoner Just store the extra inside in the bag rolled up tight. I have to do that here if not then the soil becomes saturated with palmmeto bug, cockroach, slugs and snail with take it over. I store mine in the garage. It’s soil and if it dries, just remix with water.
@Iva so true. In Cali I grew dirt in the 80’s, then hydro came and everyone wanted northern lights and skunk with big fluffy buds.

@Givemefire thanks for that . Wish I would have known that before I put them in about thirty cryovac bags . Damn I was thinking no air in the bags for O2 would keep the critters out . Oh well I will cut them open and stick it in a lawn and leaf bag

@FloridaSon that was my favorite way back in Cali to grow. Out in nature enjoying nature. Next year I’m going to sun bathe some of mine

One tough little SOB I will take a pic to post tomorrow but you would think I deliberately tried to kill my gold leaf . I soaked it in water like I should then dropped it and it took a half day to find it in the carpet . Then it had those tiny white bugs in the soil so I mixed DE in the soil and dumped a teaspoon of it on rite on top of it , when it wouldn’t rinse off with a spray I tried to wipe it off and split it down the middle so I was going to give up on it and pulled it out of the Grow room and out from under the light . After a day and a half I went to pull it out of the pot and throw it out and lo and behold it was still green . So I felt bad and just pulled it out of the mix and stuck it in the regular ffof and and back in the Grow room .
The next day as I was misting the plants the clamp light fell and landed on top of it and half buried it in the dirt . So I figured it was gone for sure this time but I straightened it up because it had tried so hard and I have been broken and come back but had little hope . Now the little guy has started growing his first set of tiny leafs . So now I am naming him Spartacus because no matter how much I beat him he is struggling back . Yes he is one tough little SOB.

You gotta love those stories of determined survival!

A day after I placed my Sour Bud in the ground, my son came over and was helping me with one of those over the air antenna.

His step daughter did fine paying attention to everything. When he came down the ladder, he stepped right on my plant. :fearful::rage: Are you kidding me?! He said “supercropping”. I said “No. You’re a damn prick!”

After checking her out I decided she’ll be fine, but I sure did want to put my fist through his chest for a moment!

I hear Gold Leaf is very resilient.

Strength and Honor…

this little guy has been through the ringer and just refuses to give it up. I’m going to be sad when it comes time to harvest him . Not so sad I won’t smoke him but I’m definitely going try to clone this guy if he survives . He was germinated and planted three days before the WW . So if you need a plant that is hard to kill Gold Leaf is your guy
