First indoor grow - ILGM Big Bud

Stop reading things about pulling leaves off or you going to slow your plant even more

what you need to do is give it a good shot of nutes, and water the whole thing that’s how you get the roots to grow down deep into the soil

I didnt want to have issues with water and root rot etc by watering the whole pot but Ill do that , thanks.
And I wasnt thinking of removing the leaves, just moving them out of the way a bit:relaxed:

If you want to stimulate root growth you will have to start watering it normally now

Those roots want to Branch out everywhere but they can’t if it’s not moist

Seems to be creeping.

I cant see mites or anything but these leaves are brittle. The rest of the plant looks healthy and is growing fine and nice and green. PH is 6.5 at the root and 6.8 at the top and she has had a 25% mix of 6/3/3 tomato food and a 5% spray of 10/1/1 on the leaves but it doesnt look like nute burn from the pictures I have found. Plant is still quite thin and I was easily able to bend some of the side branches , gently of course, away from the new shoots coming up.

Should I be worried?

I have done a bit of research and it looks likely to be a magnesium issue which with tap water I didn’t think would happen. So off for some calmag at the weekend

That was my impression too, plus it looks a little light green, when you say tomato food I really don’t know what that means but will garrigan is the one I would call in, he’s got a pretty good eye, although I think you already nailed it

pH top at 6.5 for best results

-good luck

Its just plain tomatoe nutes. Npk of 633. For growing tomatoes obv. But I used it on my outdoir grow and it seemed to do the job

So week 3.

I went bonkers and topped the plant

Its bushing well as you can see. I’ve been adding Epsom salts direct onto the leaves in a spray to get some magnesium into them quickly and tonight ill add some crystals into the soil when I water.
Ph is 6.6 at the roots

From the deepest, darkest, depths of hell, for sure. In all seriousness, you or you pet probably were a taxi from an outside traveler. Even an egg that you brushed up against, outside can find its way into your garden, and spawn the mite’s full wrath in short time, if you’re not careful.

How are you treating is problem?

As a cheap solution you could try washing up liquid in a spray bottle, diluted of course, to spray on the leaves and then wipe them off carefully. It makes it hard for them to stick to the leaves. Seemed to work on my outdoor plant when I had them

I looked on here and the forum said to use soap water so I done that and it didn’t work

Any other remedies

If that didn’t work you will need a proper one. @yoshi @Zero420 @Paranorman @garrigan62 any suggestions

Yes there’s a ton of Remedies but I don’t remember them exactly you’ll have to Google it

there’s some with tobacco and hot pepper which is very common if you invite will @garrigan62 he has a print out of a bunch of really good recipes or go to a local hydroponics store or search ilgm website

Either way you need to do it fast my friend, dumme is right these are Straight From Hell !

  • best of luck

Edit: here one, there’s more…
