First grow-White Widow CBD auto-lighting question

Hello
This is my first time growing
So much information out there
Just trying one plant in my 28"x30" box that’s 32" tall
-lined with vapor barrier from my sauna build
-2 intake fans(I have to cover them up yet)
-4" exhaust hole at the top
-1200 watt philizon light-355 actual watts
-Bush Doctor Coco Loco medium
-liquid nutrients(haven’t used them yet)
Just put my seed in a starter pot because they didn’t have any 5 gal fabrics
One question I had was, is my light too big for my space? Without buying a PAR meter to get the official answer. Just wanted someone with experience to chime in. The pictures really don’t do it justice; it seems really bright. Maybe too bright?

Theres an app called photone, that’ll give you an idea of your dli and ppfd. I feel like you’re not going to have enough height in that box. Keep an eye on how hot it gets in there

It’ll grow the one plant. I would recommend a 12/12 lighting schedule to flower as soon as it’s mature, so that you don’t run out of ceiling.
Happy growing! :seedling:

It looks nice! Is there an upper vent hole. Venting is best done with fan in upper outlet “sucking” out. Better flow, inlet fan may not be needed. Air flow adjusted with tape/covering part of lowers. Just something I’d do a little differently. I hope it works. A growmie here finished one in a garbage bin. You’ll find lots of solutions on the forum, happy gardening!

I’ll look into the app. Thanks for the advice. It is a little on the short side. We’ll see how the first grow goes. I’ll probably end up raising the top🤷🏻‍♂️

Yeah, there’s no way that’s going to be tall enough. You’ll need at least 15” from light to top of plant.

Thank you. I’ll see how this grow goes. I remeasured it today and it’s 39", not 32", but still short.

Thanks. Yes, there is an upper vent hole opposite the intake fans. I’ll see how this grow goes but I’ll probably modify the height a little
