First Grow - When to plant?

I have the exhaust line in there but not hooked up to the fan. Guess i should hook everything up including the carbon filter?? But last time I did that it was still too hot in there due to the lights. What else can I do to cool it down inside the tent? @dbrn32

Lower the temp of the room your intake air is coming from. Personally I don’t feel 84 is too hot. But you’d probably want to bring rh up a little.

What is eh? @dbrn32

I can’t adjust the room temp in just that room alone. It’s in a bathroom.

Rh, relative humidity.

@dbrn32 Well I had to open the grow tent door. It’s the only way to bring down the temp. Is that ok? And should I be running the lights 24 hours right now?

I just spotted a gnat in the tent. Ugh. How do I keep the bugs away?

Knat nix, gonats, and probably a number of other things.

You can run 24 hours, but not necessary. If you’re having temp issues now you’re probably going to want to figure them out fairly quickly. Will only escalate when tent is full.

Yes but the temp here will also drop and I’m hoping that helps. I’m going to try running a fan in there and see if that helps. Otherwise, I think the lights are emitting too much heat for a small tent. I got it because someone here recommended it … but it does heat up the tent. My house is typically at 70 degrees. It’s always a bit warmer upstairs. But the tent got up to 94 today. So that’s all from the lights. Ugghhhhh. I don’t want to go on another mission for lights.

If I get bugs, is there something I can put in the tent to get rid of them??

Bugs kind of need to be treated differently depending on what you have. If it’s knats usually put something over the soil to keep the larvae from hatching and then sticky traps or a number of other traps. If it’s something different, obviously would take other steps.

How are the girls OP?

@PurpNGold74 the one is dying. I posted in First Grow … Fingers Crossed.
