I’m wanting to grow personal it will be outdoors. I have no recent experience. I’m using seed supreme seeds 5 gallons fabric pot 1 pound of nature’s living soil I’m going to mix a little of the fox farms bush doctor coco loco with it put it close to a third way in the pot then put the rest on top of the super soil I am wanting to know if that will work I only need spring water that has a ph from 6 to 7

I like the idea of free sunlight but if growing in a humid/wet climate you may want to grow in containers. This gives you the option of moving under cover during inclement weather. Humidity/bud rot is going to be your worst issues with outdoor growing, besides the possibility of thieves.
I would also look into using plant fabric screens to shield plants from pests which also contribute to bud rot.

Is that the auto flower NLS mix or the regular? @Blue5895 It’s not designed for coir to be mixed. That changes everything about the mix. If you do, you’re gonna have to keep up with the Ca demands of coir and the watering pH range would be 6.2 for the hybrid mix.

Since a beginner, my advice is to follow the manufacturers directions for your first time. Use as directed and intended and you’ll do better. Use potting soil. Coir isn’t soil and mixing that concentrate into it changes how the nutrients are processed. I don’t wanna confuse you with all the science, but heed my warning please.

Give it a minute here please. You won’t regret it and you will learn so much. @Budbrother is one of the most knowledgeable growers here. They just have a few rules and its never meant to be oppressive. It maintains an awesome decorum here that keeps everyone kind and helpful. Few rules are no crude language, no ridicule, no confrontational vibes. Everyone is pretty chill and eager to help. No links, just screenshot. Can link to Amazon I believe. Only thing that I can recommend for the living soil choice in a 5 gallon pot is to have a backup plan for nutrition.
The reason I say this is pots under 10 gallons in living soil can and have depleted nutrition by mid flower. A few of these living soil mixes actually say a minimum 15 gallon pot for any plant ( sativa ) that may go over 5 months.
There is a huge difference between living soils built for A grow and a living bed of soil that can grow plants for a few runs.

On the super soil, you already got the best advice: for a first run, follow the maker’s directions and keep it simple. You can always get fancy on grow number two.
