First time super soil advice needed

Ill be starting my first supersoil grow in a week or two and am looking for some advice on watering and anything else those with experience wish to share.

Ill be using Natures Living soil and FFOF + 25% perlite as base potting mix. Ive contacted NLS and they said this is a workable mixture. Id like to go organic potting soil, just not in the cards this run.
My biggest worry is over/under watering. Been doing drench and drought before now and am unsure how to manage this change. I grabbed this from a dfferent website but thought Id see what yall think.

Ill be conducting this grow in 5 gal fabric pots. Thank you.

I am just along for the ride. Learning as I ride along.

Hey @Docnraq are you used to growing in soil at all?

I cant remember is NLS a organic amendment??

I think its an organic soul with microbes, enzymes, and micoryzal fungi added

It is a soil living soil concentrate. Its kinda like soup starter.

Sweet, it very similar you will water to runoff still but you will need water a little more often like 1/2 day to a day. You just dont want them to get dry as a bone in between waterings where the pots are super light, as they should stay moist. A little trial and error or a moisture meter will help you get your routine down. Also dont go too heavy on salt based nutes. A good way to tell if you are is to have worms in your soil, if its too much salt for the microbes its too much for the worms and they will come up out

Are these going to be photoperiod beans and if its organic you can water the same way as organic no run off keep the soil moist so the beneficial microbes can break down the amendments when i water i use the 5% rule you take 5% x the soil volume so if your in a 5 gallon pot 5% x 5 gallons of soil would be 1 quart of water this would be rone either 1x a day or 1x every other day for me once my girls are in a 5 gallon pot i do 1quart and 1/3 cup i have a container ive marked to know the measurements i need lol

Also once my plants are in flower i go by 10% so that would be 2 quarts or water per 5 gallon of soil every 2 to 3 days depending on how fast there taking up the water

Yeah im told that I can do water straight through with a tea after veg. I was planning on going with molasses and water then tea every 2 or 3 weeks.

Thats exactly what i do with Earth Dust and what ill also be doing with the new amendments im switching to jusg amend the soil then do bothing but water and teas every other week then top dress a week before flower then again about 20 to 30 days after flip i dont even worry about ph at all i use just ro water once your microbiology grows and becomes well established they do all the work with ph and breaking down everything and feeding it to the plants

Hows it goin grow bro, just a tip i usally fill the pots about a week prior saturate them and keep um moist just to ensure that 1 it doesnt heat up on you and itll build the life/ecosystem as well. Seeedling stage just like anything else just be carfull not over water. Once veg hits 3 liters every 3 days on average works out well for me, and of course thats gonna go up to 4 or 5 liters once their demads go up. Hope that helps bud lmk if theres something else. :v:

Right, you can also add it to waterings. During flower I use about a tbsp sometimes two per gallon of water.
