Thank you @Oldtimer69. I check my runoff PPM constantly. If it falls below 4-500 on the 500 scale I feed. I mix my nutes and it takes my PPM back up to around 2500 then I watch it slowly fall as I water 
. I use the same process on my miniature rose and my bonsai tree that are in the house and they’re starting to look really good

2500 in?? you’re getting 400/500 out? What’s your ph out? What nutes and what’s the schedule say to feed right now? How often? Because with ppms that high nute burn comes fast and I’d hate to see you turn yellow…

Bugger, should’ve worded that a little better. I have in my head what I needed to say but it gets lost sometimes. I feed the nutes in at 2-2500ppm then plain water from my barrel which I monitor as it starts to fall over the coming days. When it gets close to the 500ppm I think about adding more. I usually leave them at the 500 for a day or two to dry out a little then start again. I really should use a chart but this way works for me. Do you use a high PK as you head in to flower, bloom booster or similar.

I’m a little different because I use compost and worm castings, my ppm is higher than most. I keep my PH around 6.5/6.8 that way my uptake is good.
The problem with running high ppms from nutes is if you’re not following the schedule for the nutes your using you’re not flushing like you should and salt will build up and lock out the uptake of nutes. Or you’ll be too high and get some burn and problems on the high end… And when it goes south it will happen fast and no growth will happen… No need it any set backs or stand stills . They give us those to follow for a reason… Lol they are trying to look out for you too and believe me they know how there nutes work. If you look on the schedule it shows when, and how much you should be feeding… Just because they look ok now doesn’t mean it will be Ok, it takes a little while for issues to show in soil compared to coco or hydro. Do you know your ppms going in and out? And the same on the ppms… Its VERY IMPORTANT. Trust me this isn’t something to be lazy about it can ruin EVERYTHING and it usually happens towards the end… If you keep those to good you’ll make it to the end. I’m only stressing its VERY IMPORTANT… Lol😉

Bugger, I have a chart there I will have a look tomorrow. I have been using the dosage instructions on the bottle and never go over so I figured that it would be fine. I measured my ph tonight and it was 6.9 - 7.0 but can never remember what it’s supposed to be. The stroke has robbed me of a fair chunk of memory and I forget to do things or I miss things out completely

Man so sorry to hear that. Use a note book or something and just makes some notes that helps me out. Man your plants look GREAT so you’re doing it all right!! I was just pointing out to keep a eye on ph more than anything. 6.5 to 6.8 if you’re in soil.

Thanks for that man. I just love growing. I will have a look at the chart today just to see if I’m on point. My plants look healthy enough so I’m close, either that or I’m just lucky.
It’s a funny thing, I went to the shop the other day to buy a pad and other bits and bobs. Came out with bottled water, bird food and a parking ticket. None of which I went in to get as we had enough at home 
It’s business as usual as far as the brain goes. Just means I have to learn the same things over again each time I do them. Some things stick and others don’t. I think of my memory like a crowded table top with no space. If I put something on there it’s like something else falls off

@Oldtimer69 forgot all about checking my feeding chart. Did it last night and I’m on the money. I missed my biozym which helps release/breakdown organic matter but I’m adding that now. I’ve also started feeding with Sulphate of Potash today (10th) as thats my flowering started. It’s k value is 48% so I’m full alert for nute burn. Watch this space

Bought two elasticated nets yesterday and fitted them last night (14th). My ladies keep reaching for the sky and getting burned. I will pop in over the next few days and start tucking leaves in. Is there anything else I should be looking for or doing that would help.

Just bending and tucking to fill out the net. That will help also with the burn… You won’t have those limbs that are closer to the light than others.

That was my thinking as well. I’ve tried twice to do it without the net but I’ve decided the only way to keep those limbs down is to net the buggers. Just need to pull everything over to fill the gaps now. I’ve been doing a fair bit of reading on scrogging. Fairly straightforward by the looks of things

2nd March and things are looking good. I’ve noticed a slight yellowing on the very tips of my leaves. Not sure what’s going on, checked my ppm at runoff and it was 200 on the 500 scale so I will feed tomorrow night. PH was good at 6.8. Flowers are looking good. Getting the hang of the scrog as well with some nip and a bit of tuck. Set the new air cooled hood up on Saturday. New ducting and new variable speed fan pulling air from the inlet straight through both hoods and out again without touching the interior. Fan is currently set to low just now as it appears to be a real good unit. Set my old fan up outside my tent as an exhaust venting into my filter. Did this to make way for the extra ducting needed for those big hoods. No sign of the spider mites from my previous grow so the centipedes have done their job. Lesson learned, if it’s in the greenhouse, leave it there.
Looking at PK boosters. Are they worth it or is it just snake oil. Stuck another fan in to keep the air moving as well
Got enough kit now to start a veg tent. Thinking about a 2x2 or a 3x3. Doesn’t need to be huge, just needs to be light proof

@Oldtimer69 that was my thoughts. I fed them last night after checking the ppm the night before and it was around 200. I will leave it for a few nights then check the runoff just to be sure it’s not rising
