First grow journal purple bud

200 you’re good… Lol just at some point I’d say they got a little hot. We all do it. Other than that they look healthy and good.

Quick check on my runoff last night. All good, sitting at 700. Forgot to check the PH so I will check that tonight. I’ve been asking about the boost function on my ballasts over the past few days and last night(6th March) I flicked over. The boost apparently kicks my 600w up by 10%. No harm in giving it a try. Took a picture of my buds and they look like they’re close. That’s 8 weeks since I flipped. I’ve trimmed a bud and have it drying. Purely for scientific purposes :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye::stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Looks like still alot of clear in those pictures, I’d say you still have a few weeks. I’d try the boost light too. Might download a lux meter on your smartphone? And see what light intensity you have at the canopy? 20,000 30,000 lux just so you don’t get light burn this late in the game.

Lux meter is a great shout. My hoods are both air cooled so light burn is in hand. I’ve already scorched the top of one of my ladies so I switched to a second cool tube. I did see a light film of dust on the glass last night when I was in though. Need to try and get that sorted today :sunglasses:

The plants like 20,000 to 28,000 lux and more than that I start making the crispy and they start foxtailing… Happened on the ones I just harvested… I had my lights turned up too much

I need a green light. I’m fumbling about in the dark trying to get bits and pieces done. I will have a look for a LUX app and see what I can find. I have two 600w HPS (air cooled) and three 75w led 4k flood lamps. I also have a spare hood and 600w bulb there that I’m trying to figure out how I can squeeze in. I have changed my lighting setup around and my tent is sitting at 84f for some reason now. The heat from my lights is ducted straight in and straight out again. Need to look at my inkbird and make sure it’s set up properly. The probe must be sitting on top of a light or tucked in the roof bars somewhere.

Checked PH and it was 6.3. Can’t remember for the life of me what it’s supposed to be :rofl:. Going up through the posts above for a look, be right back :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
PH is supposed to be 6.5 - 7.0. I’m a little off so need to keep an eye on that. Not too worried though as it’s not too far off

Downloaded a lux meter and it maxed out at 20k lumens so I downloaded another and it did the same:frowning:. Need to find one that goes higher :sunglasses:

Looks like I’m just about ready to harvest. I will try and do the natural light pictures tomorrow before the lights come on. Not keen on turning my lights off as the hot restrike thing concerns me.

Looks like you’re ready to chop. That’s exciting!!

I have everything around 22,000 lux right now and they’re doing fine.

6.5 to 7.0 ph but you’re so close that will give you a good idea on your next grow!3

This is the bit I love. They smell AWESOME, even just reaching across makes my arm all sticky. So, what about the 24hr dark period. Do I do it, does it increase potency or is it straight to chop

I’ve done it both ways… Some say it works some ssy it doesn’t… Completely up to you!

I wasn’t in a hurry on my last harvest… Just waiting on amber I let them set in darkness for 72hrs…i didn’t really see a change… Lol they were still all covered with trichomes

I’m in no hurry either. I chopped a little last night. I figure I have a week to get it all cut and start drying

That looks the business. Do you have a fan or dehumidifier going in there.
I dry there then into a box with some kitchen roll. Kitchen roll draws the humidity without being too severe. That let’s me adjust the humidity to the perfect 62% before jarring :sunglasses:

Yea a dehumidifier. When I chopped them all I just hung my drier in the flower room. I’ve been burping my jars in there too, it’s just easier to control environment in there.

I’m growing all autos now so I’m not using that space, the other half I have my garden stuff starting because it’s still cold here… I’m trying to get a jump on it.

I like my photos, I have a hot box in my greenhouse that has soil warming cables buried in the sand inside it. My garden stuff is in there. I usually have a cracking head start on my tomatoes, trying lettuce in there just now as well. Garden is out because of the weather just now :face_with_symbols_over_mouth:
