I have a NL auto going that’s about a week and a half ahead of you and all I did was LST her to the side to get more light exposure to the whole plant/counteract the bushiness and it seemed to work really well.
She’s looking good! Unfortunately I had a root problem with my transfer to organic soil and she’s about 2 weeks behind… gonna keep her in veg a bit longer… and yes! I just started doing a LST… nothing crazy, just bending a little to get her spred out… will post pics
@Rob10737. A photoperiod plants flower period is controlled by you when lights are switched to 12/12 for flowering. As opposed to an autoflower plant that will flower on its own time cycle without necessarily switching your light timing.
Hope this helps a bit.
Kool. A lot of people will leave an auto on 18/6 for the entire grow and they will flower and flourish.
I’m doing autos now at that cycle and if they hold true to form I should start to see a few pistils in another week or two.
Peace.
Hi @Rob10737 , in my opinion, leave those leaves on. Those leaves are your solar panels for the plant. I would try more LST on your girl, to help with Light penetration.
Thank you! Was worried… Just got back from a 6 day vacation with no one around to water them. Left ph’ed water in a liter bottle with a pin hole in the bottle and a terracotta watering spike w/wine bottle and ph’ed water… Both bottles were just about empty when I got home! Worked great…IMG_3056|375x500
@Rob10737, that vacation away from your girl is painful, sometimes. It’s the not-knowing what will happen when I’m absent that hurts. You thought ahead and the bottle idea was genius! Keep Killin’ It!
I would be trimming. I totally get that leaves capture the sunlight but your not vegging anymore. Sure they will have their flower stretch but now is the time to bud. I would be over the top of the plant and any leaf that is palm size or bigger would be getting wacked! But its your grow, and you can do whatever you want to haha
Got the idea from a friend. If you keep the top on the liter bottle and put a small hole in it ( i used a finishing nail) It slowly will empty in 4-5 days. The terracotta spike worked excellent also! Was very relieved when I got home and then gave her a good feeding with NFTG.
