I just started my first grow with Pineapple Express Auto hoping to get some help along the way from you guys.
First here are some pictures and data of what I use for my grow.
My tent is 60x60x120 cm and I am using the 120W GC 4, Greenception Cluster LED (maybe have to buy a different one?!) For ventilation I use the Ventilution Mixed In-Line, 145-552m³/h. Also have a small fan.
First I put the seeds in a glas of tap water (pH of : didn’t check) for 18-24h. After that I put them into some paper towel and kept it wet. When the seeds started to germinate I waited for the root to get like 1-3 cm long. I put the soil (above) in these little pots, made a hole like 1 cm deep and put the seeds in it. Covered the seeds with soil (without pressure just sprinkled it in the hole) and sprayed some water on it. Then I waited. And I waited.
Two days ago the first girl lurked out of the soil. One day later her sister came out too.
I keep the temperature between 23 and 25 °C and the humidity between 35 and 50% (is this alright?). Atm it’s at 24,4°C and 42%. When the plants will grow I will put them into some 12,5L anti root bound pots like this one:
So I have a few Questions:
When should I start feeding the plants and not just watering?
When should they get transplanted into the bigger pots?
In a tent like mine, can one grow two Autos? And should I buy a more powerful LED like 450W? (I know the more Watts the more yield but what have I to expect from my lights?)
How close can I put the LED to my plants? (as low as possible without the plants trying to avoid the lights?)
For pH values I have to buy a new device because mine broke the other day.
I am looking forward to posting updates on my grow every other day and hoping you guys can help me keep my plants healthy.
It says your light only pulls 64 watts at full power with both flower and bloom switches on. I would most definitely upgrade from running just that light. Especially since your trying to grow 2 plants with it.
Your light is significantly underpowered for the space you have and possibly even for 1 plant. I’d consider upgrading. For a 5x5 there are many options that can get you to where you want to be that are modular so you can grow into the space. It just depends on how much you want to spend when and if you would like to have a DIY setup or pay for a premade kit.
Most of the burple lights on eBay/Amazon are just junk. Not efficient and throw a lot of heat. Their actual wattage is not what they advertise. You would be better off with a QB boards kit or DIY setup. There are also strip lights that are very economical but require a bit more DIY.
Kits are more expensive but you can obtain the parts separately (same parts) and save some money. Check out horticulturallightinggroup for the boards and kits.
