You’re welcome there’s another one to his name is Clackamas Coot he has a good recipe… I use a premixed product that is all the stuff needed for your soil in two bags it makes it simple, It’s great stuff called Earth Dust made by the guys at thegreensunshineco search for it as we are not allowed to share links here

I start with happy frog and use the same soil over n over, you just have to use a low dose of earth dust the first time because happy frog is amended pretty good already

If you are using fresh ocean forest you’ll want to probably wait 3-4 weeks to add anything it has quite a bit of goodies in it already

At what point do you add earth dust?
From the start?
Or when nutrients drop under 1000/ppm?
Also if you don’t add full amount how much do you add?
Thank you

I don’t measure ppm or ph of soil, if it’s new soil I use very little to start then add the flower food a week before the switch to flower, but with my used soil I mix it in before I put it in the pot then allow it to cook for 2-4 weeks before using it then the same timing for top dressing the flower food

I use 2 tbs per gallon of soil for new soil and I believe 6 with used soil I’d have to look at the bag to be sure

I think I might have to pick me up some dust and give it a shot. It sounds easy and the water only has me very interested for some auto flowers and possibly my future mother plants.

How often do you water your plant?
Every 2 days? 3 days?

It’s the easiest way I’ve ever grown weed ever, with autos you only do a single top dressing 30 days into the grow, and photoperiod you do 2 top dressings. As long as you have decent water you don’t even have to worry about ph at all. It’s great stuff, check out The Green Sunshine Co on YouTube he just did a whole video series on it

Check out earth dust it costs probably 5 bucks per 5 gallon grow total. Of course that’s not water and electricity etc

I at least wet the top every day with living soil it has to stay moist if it dries the microorganisms start to die and they are the key to the whole process. So my method is to lift the pot to determine how much I should give them each day

Was just reading thru their site, good stuff right here, definitely going to try this out next.

Other than top dressing have you had to do anything else at all?
