Early flowers, can they go back to veg stage

White Truffle Feminized ,2 months old, soil, outdoor. Los Angeles (PST) time zone. Plant moved outside after 3 weeks.
I think I was given wrong seeds (auto flower) based on how the plants look but I’m not sure. Will this plant go back to Veg growth?
I’m considering removing these to focus on my other plants and not waste the effort on them

Looks more like a photo that is re-vegging than an auto. There must not have been enough hours of daylight when you put them out. You need at least 14 hours of daylight before they go outside. I believe that would be about June 1st in LA

I agree reveg.

My suggestion would be to cut it back to just a couple of lower branches or nodes. The flowers will throw off the veg hormone. The roots are big and will push up new veg tops fast. But only if you direct it and cut off those flowers.

See the areas of clear reveg. Plant figured it out. Only it will take a while to grow thru all those buds. Help her out. Clip it. That’s what I am doing myself right now on a purposely spring flowered run.

Thanks for the suggestion, expecting 88+ degrees with sunshine for the next few months, so it will have ideal conditions to veg again

First, not telling you what to do. For real🙏.

But it’s not about temp. It’s about hours of sunlight. Specifically by the summer solstice. The days get shorter after the solstice, about 3 min a day. If you plant is not in veg before then it gets super confused. The spring flowers cause it to miss it’s Solar cue at the solstice, to flower.

So it goes veg until august and then never flowers in time. You get reveg single blades come out of the spring buds every where but up. Then by the time the plant comes around it’s way too late. Unripe larf buds on the plant. 99 out 100 times a photos. Always a disappointment.

Also, more importantly, if you leave all that old spring flower in the middle, it’s the first spot for bud rot. You got to clean that stuff out to have a successful outdoor harvest. Or at least lessen the bud rot odds.

Great information, truly appreciated. Trimming them back today, removing bud in the middle as you suggested :+1:t5:

I trimmed them as you suggested :slightly_smiling_face:

Perfect, way to leave enough branches. Also, do not fertilize till you see the new growth. Right now is the worse time to nute burn. It should only take a week or so. Just in time for the solstice.

Waiting on new growth, 90+ dry heat here so watering lightly daily, no nutes as you suggested
