Durban Poison yellowish leaf issue

I’ve got a Durban Poison Photo plant that’s been flowering ~4 weeks now. Just noticed some color issues that I wanted to see if anyone had any advice on. Happy growing. :snowman_with_snow:

Looks like it could possibly just be hungry.
What is it growing in soil or hydroponics?
If soil, have you given any supplemental nutrients yet?

I’m using a super soil recipe I found and made. So far it seems to be working well, and I haven’t added any additional nutrients yet.

Are you using any beneficial microbes?

Possibly mag light. Looks like it rolling up the leaves. Hungry possibly also. Gonna take a few days to get right so a tblspn or so of epsom top dressed and watered in covers the mag. The tips are painted so she has been pigging out. Hungry a good part of it possibly also. Just what i can see. I wouldnt go nuts on anything but some food and epsom wont hurt.

I was considering using a compost tea the next time I water. Do you have any other suggestions?

Not really. Basics always first then give a little time to work.

Need feed that soil as @LateNightGardner saying need some good tea get them microbes in your soil

I have been growing Durban (aka miss reliable outdoor) for 19 seasons here. One quirk of that strain is it fades sun leaves a lot during flowering. I am NOT saying don’t feed it, just saying you may not be able to fix it. Durban yellows out and fades the sun leaves more than any strain I have ever been honored to put in the ground. Just keep that in the back of your head if you feed her and she still seems to fade the leaves…. She also tends to look wispy thin buds, like she’s behind. Then always fatten up crazy in the last 2 weeks. Like 50% fill out.

My Durban, eating up all her leaves despite being right on cue with her feedings…

That’s exactly what I am talking about. Great example pic.:point_up_2:

It apears this pure sativa strain is a big feeder. Im not surprised as pure sativas can get huge and produce some massive buds.
I could be wrong but from my experience and understanding, if they have optimal condition then they shouldn’t consume themselves to the point of necrosis.
From my experience I don’t see the kinda “fades” in anyones hydroponic grows like I see with organic grows.

Im not trying say anything is wrong with organic growing, just that 99% of the time I see plants look like this, it’s in organic grows :man_shrugging:.
Kinda hard not to assume there’s some condition

Mine too. Durban Thai though but still the durban genes.

I posted this on my thread as all the way to week 18, she was completely green and then BAM, within 3 weeks she faded hard.

and 3 weeks later

I dont know, youre probably on to something. She is from south africa and i dont think in her landrace genes she ever saw conditions like hydroponics. Hard to say, im happy as a pig in shit over it though, that i do know.
