The purple is the result of anthocyanins, which usually appear with colder temps. Certain strains are more likely to present it than others. It’s not a problem.

If you have at least a 10° difference between daytime and nighttime temps it will bring out the color if it’s got it in them. I love the purple ones myself and would be proud to have that one in my tent @lawman5657

She is going to be a looker when she goes into flower!!! I’ve got a HVAC vent in my grow room with a 4 in duct running from it to my grow tent so I can achieve the 10 degree drop at night :ok_hand::100::oncoming_fist::winking_face_with_tongue:

That sucks Gro Bro if color is what you’re wanting. You can also manipulate pH to bring the color out but I don’t think it’s a safe way of doing it.
Genotype+Environment=Phenotype
and if you’re getting the environment right you’re only stuck with the genotype part and that’s not your fault.

I am unable to adjust pH, I use Advanced Nutrients pH perfect. Lol guess I will just have to get it colder if I can.

Don’t feel bad, I got a 20 degree temp from light on to lights off. Never had one plant ever turn purple like that. Not at all for that matter
