Is this normal ? New grower
Somewhat. Itās definitely a sativa, which are known to be long and stalky, but this looks like a classic case of under lighting. Plants will stretch and stretch in order to access sunlight faster than competitors, which is the behavior mimicked by the plant when the wattage is insufficient to the energy consumption of the plant. Long story short, they need more juice
Their under a sf 4000
I was talking about the purple stems
Way over defoliated Grow Bro and in early flower not being the right time
Oh interesting, and I do see what you mean now. Purple usually comes from acidic soil, so the pH is probably too high. Iād check the runoff and see if that can tell you anything.
Definitely overdid it on the defoliation my friendš
Holy I thought I go all out on the Edward scissor hands Train when I clip leaves on my girls but dammmmmm! And to answer your question it can be genetics it can be ph or potentially a deficiency maybe over stressed plant problem as well. do your plants get a broad spectrum of micro nutrients and minerals. Azomite is a good addition to your soil along with a high quality anything got added to the pot compost. This gives you good bioavailability in regards to basically any nutrient. However if growing traditionally with deadrients (even if itās āomri organicā) the plants may struggle to uptake nutrients from microbiologically sources. Much like the human body a plant will shut off receptors and transmitters that are essentially ignored. So when you pour dead npk to feed the plant doesnāt actually have to work with microbes as much the connection to any potential mycorrhizae isnāt as strong if an exists. Most jugged nutrients are salt based and not beneficial to fungi. But thatās my opinion for what itās worth
Purple stems can be a deficiency , or a ph issue , or some plants genetically carry purple colorsā¦start with phā¦Good Growing
Ph slightly depends on how you grow. If Iāve said it once Iāve said it a thousandā¦
ā¦āTry to PH up or down an actively brewing batch of compost/casting tea. Come back in a half hour and everything is moving back to where it was!ā But yes with jugs of nutrients I suggest the same.
I havenāt really checked the ph to be honest I donāt have droppers for them to check the carry on water Iāll get on it I tougth it was fine bc Iāve used the same water to water my other plants and their fine what do you suggest to do to fix it ?
I was thinking it could be that or it could be that itās heat stress ? It get up to 100 110 degrees inside their room
You got alot of issues going on there buddy. 110 degrees is too hot. Do you have fans in the tent? Is there an exaust fan?
There is fans and exhaust fans
You need to cool it down in there to around 75 to 85 degrees. Humidity should be between 55 to 70 percent in veg. In flower it needs to be 55 or less.
@Bryanvilla23 yes heat stress is a real thingā¦as was stated earlier ⦠youāve got a lot going onā¦itās hard , if not impossible, to diagnose anything if you are not physically standing in the space with the plantā¦sounds like you are on the right track heat/cold stress can definitely bring out the colorsā¦itās way too hot in the spaceā¦
I strongly recommend you stick an ice block in the tent in a bucket of some kind the air flow wonāt instantly become 40 degrees it will help cool the space and as it melts you have cool water for your plants to cool the roots down some too! 110 dammmmmmmit man thatās toasty!!!
Iāve definitely hauled my share of iceā¦weird but it cools things offā¦
