I’ve recently begun to use AI to assist with my grows. I’ve been trying to create a sustainable perpetual harvest for a couple of years now, and just never could seem to get the timing right. I’d either have a tent empty for too long, or be ready to go into a tent and not have one available. It sucked. One day I asked Gemini to help formulate a perpetual grow schedule, and I fed it all my data, like tents and their sizes, nutrients, etc, and I swear, this thing spit out a 7-week perpetual harvest.
So now, using AI, I have a true 7-week perpetual harvest schedule, a Cultivation SOP, and Harvest SOP, logs, flash cards, and even infographics to help articulate concepts.
I did also add the new AC Infinity Controller AI+ to one of my tents and I’m letting it control the grow for now to see how this crop turns out on autopilot.
What are your thoughts on AI in your cannabis world? Are you using any AI to help you achieve better results?

One thing you may learn of Ai particularly Gemini and chatgpt. They can be wildly inconsistent.
I mean: ask the exact same question at different times of the day, or even days of the week…you may get wildly different answers.
That’s why I started trying to develop my own Ai for AI apps to aid in growing.
What your doing sounds interesting, but be sure to check the output at various times and with different AIs solutions to check it doesn’t take you down a rabbit hole. Ai has a tendency to do that, and you won’t realize it until you’ve wasted lots of time being patient and trusting with it.

Facts. I’ve been working with ChatGPT over Gemini. I was banging my head and constantly correcting it, but you have to know when it’s wrong for it to be effective.
The biggest help I can add is to setup rules. I locked in an “always consider directive.” Always reference Mulder’s chart interactions being number one on my list. @JimWantsToGrow
But very interesting topic indeed. This AI is taking such leaps today that it will be for sure a big thing in our industry just like any other industry. The prompts just need time to develop.
Before its tried and true it’s not bullet proof. We are dealing with living organisms and they can always throw a curveball…
Unfortunately, I haven’t had a free trial. I did have a group who beta tested the app. For their help the beta turned production at no cost to them. How i came to a price: Once it was done I polled the forum of what it should cost…I used that to set the price.
I am trying to figure out a subscription path to help on that. I’ll be updating the “run through” video to reflect it’s current status. Notes has been drastically updated, the male or female ai has been refined…etc.
When you try to publish to Google you have two options…free or pay…once chosen you cannot change to the other.
If I do another official beta… I’ll let you know. I am trying to remove a 3rd party addin(the charts) I have programmed in…I am trying to come up with my own charts…the addin costs $99 for this first year…$499/yr after…I contacted the company…they are extending my charts at $99 for another year, as sales don’t cover the cost. This is the reason I charge for it. Otherwise it would be free.
I set my temp and humidity three times during grow; one for each stage:
Veg: 80-82 @ 60-62%
Early flower(after crowning and stretch): 76-78 @ 55-58%
Mid to late flower: 60-75 @ 43-45%
Exhaust on 2-3 all the time.
Using AC infinity.
Just using Ai to help other plant stuff: sexing, nute issues, pests, trichome/harvest readiness.
I’m using the AC Infinity Controller AI+ on one of my tents and it too is wanting to change the lighting schedule to accommodate a better environmental scenario.
I bought the ai controller and some UIS blocks to go with my non ACI gear, I going to do a full organic living medium in two 30 gallon pots. Likely place the pots in the tent, fill em and let them sit for two weeks… while that’s going on, Ill let the ai controller optimize the gear I have. Once I plant, the twnt should be environmentally stable. At least that’s the way I understand the ai controller actually works? Could be totally mistaken? Maybe you guys have some info on it that I could find useful?
I would like to know if there is any way to get automation for my setup, Not necessarily AI but I wouln’t mind if it was. My gear is Spider Farmer mostly, but not the newest 2025 models so they prob don’t have the right ports for their new smart controller.
Would be nice to keep the environment more stable and have day/night temps.
Surely there is/will be some universal controllers that work with differend brands?
Ac ai is crap. It bases everything off of the inside and outside probe. If that outside probe isn’t in the right spot it screws everything up. If it’s in the right spot; it isn’t accurate. I tried it for a while and tracked it via other sensors. Wild swings and less right than manual set points. Both chat gpt and grok have told me to harvest then not harvest based on identical information each time. It doesn’t work. And if you check it will almost always agree with you
Sorry you feel that way, but thank you for sharing your thoughts. I am finding the AC Infinity AI to be much different than how I operate a tent, but my plants are VERY happy. Besides, I didn’t give it time control, which it does want, and I do not agree with it’s suggested light hours.
So is it perfect, not by a long shot, but it is working and I’m learning more about it and it’s nuances each day.
