Using Gemini requires digital photos of trichromes. Hand held devices sell for under $30. Open Gemini and press the + button on android phones to add photos. Then the AI will analyze and tell you harvest window details based on percentage of clear, cloudy and amber. It is easy to od. AI can also be used in all stages.
@Growmoredank is working on something too.
Testing my Ai training suite now; to takes a user from photos to ai. Once I get all of my Ai apps models trained and exported…it will be available on GitHub free.
I just use a magnifier
That works, but digital handheld micros are cheaper than a jewelers loop all day. And Gemini comes free with any pc or Goggle phone. No guess work either. I have no tried Chat GPT or Gronk, but bet they work too without any training.
Interested in that! Keep us posted!
One thing about the Google or other web ai…I personally do not live in a legal state.
Submitting my photos to a corporate server that tracks my IP address, Mac address, and who knows what else just doesn’t make me comfortable.
My app is on the phone, no servers. If you want to contribute please feel free to send me pics. The larger the dataset of images the better it’s accuracy. Feel free to check my app thread for contact details.
The link is from the start of when I began working with Ai… it’s a learning experience..
I dont use a jewelers loop. I have my iphone and a magnifier
This is all good! Why not take advantage of new tech. I was using promix mc with 50 percent perlite until AI suggested promix hp. This stuff is great!
I’m right there with you Dude. Totally will look at the link you provided.
Don’t take this wrong, but some of us old heads simply don’t care about that kind of technology, no offense to those who like it. I’ve learned to read the plants and lots of trial and error, just don’t depend on a machine or computer. I’m just old and country as hell, personally never even owned a video game, stayed out in the woods all time.![]()
My completely unsolicited thoughts about AI is that we should use it just like any other tool we have, as a reference point, not 100% dead nuts on it but not exactly just bro science either, but it can only give us what information it has been programmed with so its diagnostic capabilities are limited to that. If its something complex It can tell us a list of probabilities of what might be wrong and corrective action needed to fix it but again is limited to its programming. Human intuition and foresight is a hard thing to replicate and while they are dangerously close they are still not exactly there, just yet, I don’t think. But using it as a guide, I’d say use any advantage you can get, maybe just test it a little first before jumping all in. Just my thoughts![]()
