Looking for some insight.
The plant is skunky as all hell. My wife got loopy handling it. Really using water. But it’s not at all sticky.
My gut tells me another week.
Thoughts?

Day 66 in flowering, or day 66 from seed? Lots of white pistils. You’ll have more than a week to go yet.

Don’t mean to sound dumb, but this is my first auto grow. I’m liking it, and I don’t want mess it up.

Time in the flowering stage is the relevant metric. Most strains will be ready for harvest 8 to 10 weeks from the start of flowering (when pistils first appear at the tips of the plant.)
Begin looking at trichomes when all of the white pistils on the flower have browned and receded and harvest to the trichome maturity of your taste.
Do you have a cheap USB microscope with which to look at the trichomes?
No dumb questions here. Every one of us started out where you are at the moment and we all had the very same questions at that point.

I’ve been growing photos for some time, and I decided to give autos a try. I understand photos. But things happen so fast with autos. That’s why I’m being slow and cautious.
Yes I do have a USB digital microscope, just bought it. Tough to use, that why I didn’t post photos using it and just used my phone.
So what you’re saying is I could still have significant time before harvest.

I would guess a few weeks. It hard to tell without understanding on what date she started flowering. Watch those pistils and start looking at trichomes when the pistils have browned.

They all went into flower between Jan 12-14 if that helps. I mark everything on on calendar.

Nice plants. Autos can take 10-14 weeks to be in the harvest window. I had 8 going and I have chopped 6 and it’s been 13 1/2 weeks from seedlings. The 2 left growing have at least another week. 1 still has white pistils. Good luck with your grow. I personally like autos especially in a hydroponic system. Mine is sticky as Velcro but no aroma and their super skunk strain.

In your picture above, 99% of your pistols are white that takes at least 3 weeks there to darken up and turn back in.

I bought a cheap microphone stand that hold mine steady. You still gotta play around getting it at the right angle but get a stand that has a flexible neck on it. Good looking plants.

Coincidentally, I have a gorilla cookie Autoflower that’s actually ready to chop today. She actually went 7 weeks of flower and finished on day one of week 8
As you can see her hair (pistols) are no longer visible as they’ve darken up and turn back into the bud.

Cautious is very good with autoflowers as they can be forgiven however they can be non-forgiven as well.
