What was the temp?
Should try and stay at 79f any cooler and growing will slow down,
What’s the ppm of your water? What’s the source of it? Do you let it. Sit for 24hr to evaporate chlorine?
Your light is good for 1 plant just FYI it’s 132w.
Did you add some perlite to the happy frog? If not Remeber to in the future it should be 30% perlite or vermiculite but in soil perlite is a better choice.
Do your pots. Have any drainage? Try to find cloth pots
What was the temp?
*It averages about 73 degrees
Should try and stay at 79f any cooler and growing will slow down,
*Okay, I will keep it higher
What’s the ppm of your water?
*The last 2 waterings i used Distilled water. Before that I used a de-chlorinated tap water but the PPM’s were high at 343
What’s the source of it?
*Tap water
Do you let it sit for 24hr to evaporate chlorine?
*Yes
*Todays run-off PPM:
*Plant One: 1,318
*Plant Two: 1,371
*Plant Three: 1,463
Your light is good for 1 plant just FYI it’s 132w.
*I know, thats what I have been told…but I didnt know that when I bought it. After this grow I will look to buy another LED…looking now for recommendations…I like to grow 1-3 plants at a time, I think.
Did you add some perlite to the happy frog? If not Remeber to in the future it should be 30% perlite or vermiculite but in soil perlite is a better choice.
*I didnt add perlite—Next time I will.
Do your pots. Have any drainage? Try to find cloth pots
*My pots have drainage. Holes in the bottom. I will get cloth pots next time
*Thanks for your comment–very helpful
Your most welcome.
Save yourself the money and go back to tap water, just PH it to 6.5 before you water and elt it sit out for 24hr.
Also when in soil water the first 4 weeks with no run off and just water. Then do one run off sample after that, to see if you need nutrients.
The idea of run off is only meant to be used with feed, not water, the run off prevents nutrient salt build up. Where as when you water to run off with nutrient rich soil your stripping the soil of nutrients faster than needed.
Have you picked up a nutrient line yet?
The temp, pot change, perlite, and watering change will make a big difference.
You will need to invest in more lighting to grow more than one plant into flower however
How do I ‘PH the water’ from the tap?
Also, I bought Foxfarm liquid fertiliser: ‘Grow Big’ and ‘Tiger Bloom’. The plants PPM today was:*Plant One: 1,318
*Plant Two: 1,371
*Plant Three: 1,463
