I am a 36 year cancer survivor who wasn’t supposed to survive (at least that is what The National Cancer Institute NIH said). I have been getting high for 40 years. I slacked off for awhile, and when I became disabled due to chronic severe pain, I ran into an old friend and we smoked a bowl. Miraculously, it took all my pain away. I have had numerous surgeries for pain including a deep brain stimulator being implanted into my brain. I still take almost 300mg of morphine a day. All of that deadens the pain enough that I don’t go crazy. But marijuana is a God send. I still like getting high, but I especially love being pain free. Being in constant pain for 34 years will wear anyone down to the bone. If I had known what I know now, I would have never quit smoking/using it!
