Hi all,
This is my first grow. It’s an GSCE Auto on day 20. Do I go ahead and start LST at this point, or give it more time before I do that?
Being my first grow, I’m a bit unsure if I start now, or wait a little bit longer.

I wouldn’t do LST for the sake of LST. Keep your objective in mind. Most do LST to improve airflow and light penetration. Others’ are more aggressive about LST, but that is my humble opinion.
That said, if you wish to top, then she is about ready for that.
She looks great. Keep doing what you are doing.

Hi all, so this morning I was getting ready to top her and did some additional reading online and I didn’t top her. Seems there are lots of folks that say to not top an auto. What’s the consensus on here on topping autos?

There is no consensus, you’re supposedly not supposed to top an auto but you can, all up to you man. Give it a go. I’m on my first grow and I didn’t top, however on my next grow I’m going to try and top just because I want to, do what you feel you wanna do

If you start from the beginning you’ll see we’re about same size plant when I planned to do LST. Learned a lot from the advice in there. Make a journal yourself!
It is a hefty journal with 400 posts, so you can skip around a bit and find what interests you but it def has tons of dumb questions I’ve asked and reasked, beginner friendly!

I finally started one the other day.
Thanks so much man! Gonna read over yours and get some tips on LST. I may try topping on my next grow (only doing one at a time) and see how the difference is.

I just realized after reading your grow journal that it’s actually a thread under a different header. I had started mine using ilgm-growjournals.com. I’ll start a thread tomorrow.
