Curing: move from jars to grove bags?

I harvested 3 days ago after 7 days of drying in 50-60% humidity and 70-73 F.

The flowers are trimmed and in jars with a rubber seal and handle. Just got Grove Bags in the mail today. Should I transfer over to the bags or not? The RH in the jars is 50%. If I transfer doni have to increase the humidity?

I would transfer them. Let them acclimate to the bags and keep a hygrometer in the bag. Check it after a day or two. If it is still at 50% you can add a leaf from one of your plants to bring the humidity up a wee bit. I love my grove bags. My long term stroage has been parked at 58% on my first harvest since October.

You can store it long term in the bag and just pull some out when you need it.
Use your Boveda’s or as mentioned a fan leaf or two to keep the humidity around 58%.
Depending on how often you go into the bag as to how long they’ll hold the humidity The bag I smoke out of is always a little lower than my stored ones, but only a % or 2, and if I put it back in the pantry within a few days it’ll raise back up.

Oh, so combine the Boveda and the Grove Bag. But the flower has to already be close to 60%. Maybe a drop of water in the bag to bring it up from 47% to 60%?

Better to use a fan leaf or two to spread the moisture around. A few drops of water will end up in a bud or two and that’s it.
If you’ve got the right humidity in the Grove it’ll hold it without the Boveda for a while depending on use.

When did you put in jars.

3 days ago in jars. I’m now moving it all into the Grove bags.

I ended up pulling out all the buds and very lightly misting them with a spray bottle, then into the bags again and watched the hygrometer after 45 min and then more water or pull it out to dry in the air if needed.

Watch for mold.
