Curing Help LSD fem curing techniques wanted

So I’m in a very hot environment I was gonna take the crop in the ax to cure where the temps are gonna be around 75-85 I’m going to dry trim but I was wondering after the 7 days of hanging when I had it what percent humidity pack should I buy and do I have the process correct then burp jar once a day for 2-3 weeks

I use grove bags for curen rh 62% noveda packs or the name

I also use the 62% Bovedas and grove bags. Jars are for the birds - or for folks with free time. I can hardly make it through trimming without getting interrupted. Can’t afford to burp jars.

Will 69 work? They have a sale I found on those

What’s a grove bag

No. 69% rh will create moldy weed.

58 or 62 are it pretty much.

Check it out.

Grove Bags are burp-free curing containers. I’ve used them since day one. They self-regulate the environment. All you need to do is dry them properly.

Thanks I got the 62 like y’all said I had to hang a few small that I clipped and they dried out super quick has a slight smell in the jar I’m going to dry trim after hanging the whole plant for about 7 days in the ac then start trimming and put it in jars that is the correct way right

How long to you hang your harvest for? I was gonna do 5-7 days where I’m at seems like that’s long enough maybe even too long

Do you have a wood moisture meter? Highly recommend getting one. Takes the guess work out. Poke the buds with the pins. Once they read 11-12%, bag em (or jar them). You can get them on Amazon or at any hardware store.

You can not use a set and predetermined dry time. The number of days it takes is totally depended on the climate the plant is in. Namely temperature and humidity. Also some parts may dry faster than other parts.

Welcome to the community , if there’s any way you can get that temperature down some it will be to your advantage. Shoot for that 7 day plus dry. If it drys too quick it can smell and taste like hay. dry trim will help some my leaving leafs.
65 to 68 degrees 40 to 50 humidity would be a more Favorable target. Happy growing ! :v:

So like listed above the longer the dry the better. Just got done drying few weeks ago, It was hot where I am, tepms in low 70, humidity 59-65 took 10 days, did a lil wet trim to get off all fans leaves, to help in the dry process. Do your best to stay around 60/60 temp humidity, My first harvest I rushed drying and it tasted terrible, harsh no flavor not mellow. Turned it all into Edibles mostly

I’m forced to do it in the upper 80’s I might get it to be in a 75 degree room if I’m lucky I bought the 62 percent humidity packs but if it goes too fast that’s what makes it smell like hay?

Okay , @ChaddyDaddy something you have no choice, You might consider planning your grow to harvest in the cooler part of the year. Back in the day I dried weed Hanging in the barn but it was always late fall of the year when it’s cooler. Just my thoughts good luck my friend !
