Container size and plant size

I searched a bit but did not see what I was looking for. Has anyone ever done a side by side with 3 gal- 5 gal- and/or 7 gal sized containers to see plant size/yield differences?

I’ve grown autos in 5 and 7 gallon pots. My 7 gallon plants have been bigger with larger yields. Bigger roots= bigger fruits

@RAP. I agree with @HornHead ,s statement above. I used to grow in 3 -4 gal pots when I started but since I switched up to 5 gal and up my plants have been bigger and healthier overall. I use 25 gal outdoor but try to keep it to 5 gal for indoor.
