Confused Newbie here, so play nice :)

Welcome to the happy place @DocSwink!
Reading through, looks like ur in good hands. When it comes to overwatering, volume is one thing, frequency is another. When growing in soil, a single water event can be 2-3x the container volume (flushing) without harming the plant.

Cool! Nice to know as I am planning a flush today after setting up their new casa. It would appear that I overfed the ladies once and am paying the price. They will normally take ~1.5 litres before runoff shows. Will triple that and hope for the best. The Ladies (Frick and Frack) say hiya!

Sorry, that should read:

~15-20mls. Damn fat fingers.

Update on Frick and Frack and to answer a few questions:

  1. Did a flush today and finally got my ppm down to 850 (levels recommended for late flower)
  2. After the flush, watered with plain H20 adjusted to 6.3 ph (I had several suggestions regarding ph from 6.0 to 6.5 so I split it down the middle and called it a day)
  3. Cleaned up and tidied up the ladies. They will be moving to their new abode tomorrow hopefully (see attached)
  4. Took some pictures to get an idea of how far along the trichomes are. I am thinking next week for harvest but will defer to you guys (and girls) My fingers kept sticking to the damn plants! LOL As Dave Chappelle said “The stickiest of the icky”
  1. Apologies for the half-ass pictures. It was a new set-up, I was fightingthe plants, the phone and my A/C at the same time.
    Thoughts? Suggestions?

Try get your scope on the bracts or kernels of the flowers. The sugar leaves will develop amber sooner than the buds themselves. I like to trim off a little nug that I can bring in and put under the scope. Then I can dry it out snd sample it as well. Thank you for service!

You are more than welcome. I will tell you that there were a few times that I was not sure if I was coming out of a situation in the same shape I went in, but that is an occupational hazard.

Like Sausage said, gotta get in on those buds, leaves will give false indicators. If spot checking by hand, get urself a good loupe. I know this place that has a pretty decent one for only 12 bucks! They gots great people and knock out genetics too… link below :hugs:

Again have to agree with the Bratwurst, snipping a taster and getting pics is a great method. If thats not ur thing then turn off all fans and mount your scooe to a stand. Steady and still will get the snaps ur looking for.
