Coco is growing but I’m still concerned

@anon34311147 Thanks Marty. Yeah, the old man watered the new potted soil a bit before transplanting her and after. I’m hoping for the best for Coco. Honestly, she’s tougher than Ellie was. Don’t know her genetics, but if she gets better from all of this, she’ll REALLY make me a better farmer :woman_farmer:t4:

That would be a good idea. I use the AC Infinity Pro controller that has Bluetooth and a sensor that remotely controls the environment inside the tent. You can regulate the temp and humidity with the outside air thats being sucked into the tent. The outside room is your lung room basically. Make the air cooler and dehumidify the air before it makes its way into the tent. You could also put a dehumidifier inside of the tent. I bought a swamp cooler to put in my tent and a dehumidifier. I also have a window AC unit in my lung room running constantly and I’m still fighting the heat… just do your best. You could put a bucket of ice in front of the air inlet for the tent. It will help cool the air.

Thats how i see it too. You only gain knowledge through experience. You can read all you want but not until you actually do a thing, is when you become one with it…

Ok, Coco is still dying, despite transplanting her into new soil. I just uprooted her from the new soil to see what her roots look like. I’m a newbie and still think she has hope. So…I’m gonna try the peroxide thing on her and hope it helps. Unless anyone has any other suggestions for saving her.

All of her leaves are crunchy, but even the all green parts. Maybe her roots can’t take in nutes so maybe the peroxide mix has a will help. If not :woman_shrugging:t4:, I will be getting ILGM seeds in October and starting from there.

Thanks for all your help guys! Wishing you all successful grows with your plants!

This was a great learning experience for me.

When you transplant it takes couple weeks to get settled in i now its hard to see your plants struggling but patience is the hardest part if your growing in soil when feeding with dry ammendment it takes longer to feed a plant and liquid amendments feeds right away my friend happy growing

Shes gone… its all over. At least you have alot of good soil for your next grow in October. You’ll be ready now. Sometimes you have to do things the wrong way so that you’ll know thr right way and what not to do next time…

Grow bro, you succeeded in killing the crap out of that lady.
Look at your notes. Think about what went wrong.
Don’t do those things anymore.
I know you’ve learned a lot.

It’s cooked, but you learned. Better luck next time

Time to throw in the towel as sad as that is. Compost her and start new. Those roots are smoked.

@IslandGrown76 thanks :disappointed::disappointed::disappointed: the old man said the same thing. I did the 1 part peroxide and 9 part water mix and soaked her roots for 30 minutes. I dried them and replanted her in the moist soil. She’s got until October 5th to comeback to life after this peroxide treatment, then off she goes. I’ll be starting new .

Thanks for your advice throughout this learning curve.

@Reed71 youre so awesome! I wish I would have taken a picture of her roots after the peroxide soak. They were more white. I’m gonna let her be. She’s back in the soil after the soak. The old man thinks she’s done like Ellie. But this is my last try. I’ll leave her be and water her when needed. If she makes it I’ll be glad. If not, then October is new crop season for my indoor growing!

Thank you so much for your help through this experience!

She wont come back I’m sorry to say. She has been messed with too much. You’re only torturing your poor self. Time to let coco go.

@IslandGrown76 you’re so right…the soil stinks like it did when Ellie was dying, and it’s new soil. I appreciate you guiding me…

@Negrita007 your welcome my friend happy growing can’t wait to see you get your new seeds in get them going

Blue lab has one that absolutely can be used directly in the soil. I’ll try to post a link…

Thanks @Rockdog62 !!! That’s a great piece of equipment there!!! This post is from my very first grow, and I literally overdosed my plants with ph down because I didn’t have this meter and was using the tpm meter that’s for the soil only to text my water. I learned soooo much for this grow and am so prepared for the grow I’ve got going now. I have the Apera 5 in 1 meter and the Vivosun sun because it helped me understand the Apera lol :joy: .

Thanks again! Hope you check out my new grow! I’ve got 5 GSCE going!
