Co2 question in st.Louis mo

I had a question regarding co2 . I’ve used the exhale co2 bags before but I want to try an actual tank setup. So here’s couple of my questions…
What size tank do I need?
Where to get a tank ?
Also where do I get it refilled at and average cost?
What is good regulatory for it?
And a good co2 controller?

My grow room is 12x12
I run 4 mars hydro fce4800 leds

Just thinking I’m missing out on a lot of potential by not supplementing co2

CO2 demands a sealed environment, high intensity lighting, and high PPMs (hydro is best for pushing high nute levels.) Supplemental CO2 does absolutely no good without intense lighting and an environment where the plant will actually use the CO2. CO2 makes no sense for the vast majority of hobby growers. Normal room CO2 is plenty.

This is done in an oversized shed with back half built into grow room. It does have a ac unit which I cut hole in the wall to mount it so basically window unit. So wouldn’t that be a sealed room? ac unit does have option to pull in air from outside or close it and recirculate air that’s already in the room .

Also yes I forgot my plants are all done currently in dwc hydro

You absolutely can benefit from CO2 but like stated it’s a highly technical grow method. Hydroponics is almost necessary to provide O to the root zone while delivering CO2 to the canopy. Very high light levels and adequate cooling and dehumidification due to the high temps generated by lights.

There are systems available that include the correct regulator and monitor. My understanding of the process is it’s best used in veg and only for a few hours per day. There are some growers here who use it: @peachfuzz is a good one to ask.

Thanks, I heard that co2 should only be used when lights are on bc plants don’t benefit from it with lights off .never seen anything directed more towards veg or flower so that’s something new to me. Just figured get my co2 levels to 1000-1200 during the length of the grow when lights are on .
