Co2 recommendations

Hey. I bought a cheap 20 pound co2
Tank but it doesn’t seem like it has a gauge . Does anyone have a recommendation $60 to 80 with all part. Its brand is a vevor. Anyways look I’d be grateful if some could pick me out with gauges and not too expensive. Thank you

Thanks for sticking around with us for another year!

What you’re probably looking for is a regulator. It will control the flow and most likely come with a gauge. These can be fairly simple or pretty fancy depending on what kind of control you want. I don’t use one specifically to recommend though.

Imo, I wouldn’t invest a lot of money into co2. It’s beneficial, but you have to use it properly, have enough light, and then try to maintain other environmentals while keeping it in your grow space to maximize its efficiency.

Is 60-80 a lot? The one Igot didn’t seem to have a regular. Do you have a link for yours. I have a 300 watt light. Jacks 321 and grow tent malt. Along with supplements and for fox coco loco. In probably missing some but I’d a 20-40 pound tank. Amy recommends.thanks for the reply

CO2 should only be used in high power lights, high ppm feeds, and a totally sealed environment. If only using a 300w light, no CO2 is necessary. It can also be VERY dangerous as CO2 poisoning is a real threat. It can kill you if you don’t know what you’re doing.

Add/edit… I use a HLG 350r and Jacks in a 5 gallon bag of coco in a 3x3.5’ closet and produce some really dense buds. No CO2 necessary.

Sorry for the confusion, I don’t use co² for the reasons Borderryan22 stated. You can maintain sufficient levels simply by having good air exchange.

in other words growing and taking care of the girls is hard enough no need for the co2 it’s just another complication and a waste of money honestly
