I have three plants of the same variety growing, two are about the same as far as flowering, the other isn’t anywhere close to being done. On the two that are close to harvest, I’ve been picking caterpillars off and have began to notice some rot on some buds. I sprayed about a month ago with BT and Captain Jacks dead bug brew. Should I spray these again or just chop them down and take what I get? Trichomes 95% milky/cloudy, very few amber ones. Any advice appreciated. Thanks
Check the buds very well, even pulling them open if needed. Caterpillars can get all the way down to the stems and do some heavy damage. They also leave their dookie all over. I recommend removing and discarding all effected growth to fresh green. Captain Jacks is safe to spray daily up until harvest, so spray away. I also recommend a good thorough bud wash at harvest.

I plan on chopping these two Saturday morning. Supposed to rain tonight so maybe that be somewhat of a bud wash? If not I could spray them lightly with garden hose.
