Chop or Continue to Fight Spider Mites?

Hello
I’m trying to decide if my GG4 auto is ready to harvest or if I need to continue to fight spider mites.

To me, my trichs look cloudy and I do see “some” amber….but I was still thinking I need to see more? But, how much damage will the spider mites do?

Been spray with Jacks bug spray.

—— I DO plan to do a bud wash.

Additional pictures in next post.

Any guidance?

A bad infestation will have them spinning webs all over your buds. It is almost impossible to remove that silk.
I fought spider mites before and they are relentless little pests.
You are pretty close and it may be better to chop and wash asap.

I fight spider mites every indoor grow. I found a product called organishield that worked well this last grow.

@JaneQP thanks!

Do you treat your plants ahead of seeing them or wait till you have an infestation?

I’m thinking of spraying my next plant as it grows and hope to keep them under control. Not sure if spraying before seeing them works?

Id pull that. Youll be happy with it.

Spider mites are like terminators, they absolutely can’t be stopped. If you have them, cut your losses, and bug bomb your house. Chances are that will only piss them off, but worth a try.

I bug bomb the basement every so often with a product that is safe to use around a pilot light and scrub every tent after harvest.

The organishield product wiped the mites and fungus gnats out fast and they have not returned.

A preventive I use are mosquito bits soaked in warm water overnight and strained out. To this concoction I add a teaspoon of rosemary oil. I read that plants uptake a compound called rosemaric (sp?) acid that the chomping insects don’t like.

No one has complained about a rosemary flavor in what I grew last year.
