I have many! What is qwet to start?
We were going to make a batch of coconut oil tomorrow hopefully.
Last batch I used 1.5 oz of trim and a half of flower.
We’re going to use a full 2 oz of flower this time around. We are hoping it increases the potency a bit.
Still trying to figure out if decarb is necessary if vaping with a cartridge with a ceramic coil…
Partial decarb, full decarb, no decarb?
Unfortunately, edibles do nothing to me.
I have a full spectrum cart I bought at an IL dispensary… I know that’s not made with alcohol… But I’d like to get as close as possible.

You make your own carts? That is something we’ve thought about quite a bit.
Growing is great for our flower supply, but both the wife and I like our vape pens when we’re out and about. They aren’t cheap either! I’d love to learn to make our own, I just always thought it was out

I used to have one of those cartridge pens, after a while I couldn’t handle it, really hurt the lungs. Probably all the stuff they put in those a few years ago. Anyways, now I have the XMAX V3 Pro dry herb vape pen, love it! Nothing but weed goes in, nothing but great flavour comes out! I pack it with about 0.3 of a gram and take the dog for a walk down the creek. Does 3 4-minute sessions, one at 195C, then 2 sessions at 210C or until flavour fades and exhaled vapour does too. I can be talking to strangers and puff on it, they have no idea it’s weed! And I get 2 walks out of a charge before I have to plug it in (so daily!).
And when at home, I switch to joints, never really like bongs or pipes…
My wife and I are strictly dry herb vapors as well. I might smoke a joint now and then I guess. At the moment we both use a dynavap with the wand (heater). We’ve gone through a lot of the dry herb vapes over the years and have both taken a liking to dynavaps. They aren’t the most discreet if you’re using a torch, they look like a one hitter with a cap, but with the heater they aren’t terrible. They get hot though! Like real hot! They fit in a dugout so after use it goes back in there to cool off.
I say no decarb. It’s the heat and time that activate the THC from THCA which happens when you vape. I know a few that do a partial decarb but only to make the concentrate more viscous… I, personally would rather add a thinner or terps to make it more viscous. check out Farm To Vape products.
So 1 oz will make how much of qwet?
It depends on the % of thc in the plant and if you’re using quality buds or trim. I find with quality buds, 1 oz will produce between 1.2 and 1.6 grams @ 750mg thc per gram
When you make qwet you use the 1 gram of it and get 4.5 1 gram carts?
I see that post was from a year ago. Is this something you’re still making on the regular? Going good? It looks sort of like a pain tbh, but really interested in giving it a shot.

Well going to make some coconut oil tonight after work.
Got 2 oz ready to go, decarbed last night. My oven apparently doesn’t go to 240? It’s 225 or 250, we did 225 for 75 minutes.
After work we will start the process.
I have another oz I’m going to do the qwet method this weekend.
Currently making the batch of oil, but I think I screwed up my timing pretty bad and it’s going to be a late night making this stuff.
This is just under 2 1/2 hours in with another 2 1/2 to go for this first round.
Just remember that you DO get to a point of too much. At a certain point the oil can suspend no more of the cannabis. 1 cup of oil does a good ounce to 1.5 ounces. Can run as long as want to infuse. I do 3 hours…refill…3 hours. Done.
I ran 2 ounces through 3 cups of oil. Two rounds of 5 hours at 170 degrees.
I fell asleep round two though and it sat for an extra 4-5 hours.
Looks good, too early and I have to work today otherwise I’d try it right now. Smells amazing!
Just got done putting it in a jar though.

Update from the tent this morning. Things are looking good.
I filled the bases last night with 6.7 water at 440 ppm in the 500 scale.
I added 2ml of calmag for the older plants. I haven’t been doing that, but figured this round I’d try it here and there.
Plants just woke up a couple minutes before this.
Please let me know if you see anything or think I need to change something.

Good color. If decarb was good you are golden. If it feels real weak can finish decarb right in that jar. 230-15 more minutes
