After a very successful first run with ILGM Sour diesel, it’s that time again. This time I’m doing with one Sour Stomper from Maphesto. This will also be a Grow Dots grow. After picking some very knowledgeable brains here, thank you @Twelve1 and @BobbyDigital , I settled on Roots Organics Origional soil blend and I am going to use the “medium” dose of dots. I soaked a single seed in a pill bottle of spring water with a couple drops of peroxide. While that was soaking I got my solo cup ready and sanitized my tent with iso. I put about two inches of ocean forest in the bottom of my solo and mixed in a bit if root magic mycos. The rest got topped up with happy frog mixed with mycos too. I watered it in and set it aside. After a 24 hour soak my seed had sank but no tail had pooped yet. In the solo cup I poked a 1/2” deep hole with a pencil and placed the seed in, making sure it was on its side, covering it very loosely and a humidity dome was put on top. I placed it on a shelf above my tent that my ballast hanging from and away it went. It took two days for a helmet to emerge but as soon as it did I placed it under my light set 18” off the cup and turned down to 12 DLI. Thats where I’m at so far.

I tried to get some from NASC during the last Halloween sale but they were almost all sold out. I ended up getting singles of fast buds “smoothie” auto a Barney’s “zkittles” auto and received a two free “trix” autos and a Mendocino20 “mint julip” auto. That on top of the three pack of Maphesto “sour stomper” which had 4 in it and a three pack of fast buds “g14” auto and the freebie 2 “purple haze” autos from that order plus the leftover 10 ILGM “sour diesel”, I think this little 2x2 is gonna be cooking up some variety for quite some time. I’m expecting a whole lot of greatness to come out of this little box
My goal with this grow is to see how simple I can make a grow while at the same time seeing what kind of growth and quality I can get with only watering twice a week, alternating between recharge and plain spring water. Only exception being if a deficiency pops up.
