This is one of my autoflowers i have 2 autos and 2 photos in my grow tent currently. They are about a month old and i feel like something is wrong. They are all planted in fox farms happy frog and have been fed just water so far during grow. I have a vipraspectre 1200 i think, i know its a blurple light which arent ideal could that be the cause of this stunded growth?
Not really looking too bad my friend.
Perhaps light is a tiny bit close causing tighter node spacing, but some growers do that on purpose.
You will be surprised by how much they stretch and grow once they start to flower.
I would not worry but just continue with the grow.
They look very good.
This was a lesson that I learned about LEDs. When a plant receives blue light and plenty of it. The plant is very happy to grow very short nodes and very heavy branching. If you remove some of the blue color or just reduce your lights intensity. The plant takes this as a signal that it is being crowded by other plants and starts trying to stretch above them.
The only problem with what you have is that the bottom of the plant will require a lot of trimming as you move forward, and this may not be that good for autos.
I know you didn’t ask how I do it. But this is why I like to start seedling in a little clone tent under two T5s. This gives them a great stretch until they reach 12 - 14 inches tall. Then they are moved into the tent with the LED.
Seeing alot of burnt leaf and deep green color. If feeding cut back on N a lil. Maybe water only couple days. What does your runoff look like?
Agree with @Ickey on tight node spaceing. The object is to stretch them out just a little during veg and then hit them with that bright light once transition ti flower begins. This will put tight nodes at the ends of your branches.
@Docnraq. Brings up a good point about excesses. This is a lesson that I learned the hard way.
Any grower should keep a close eye on the plant’s vertical growth during veg and the first half of flower. If this suddenly slows or stops it is probably due to an excess of something. Some of these such as calcium or nitrogen show other signs of stress. Others like copper or fluoride do not show any other signs just reduced growth. I have learned that a slow down in vertical growth is a leading sign that something is going wrong.
