New grower please help with autoflower

This is my first grow. Its kind of slapped together. Indoor grow. Using Fox Farms Happy Frog in 5 gallon fabric pot and FD trio for nutes. My plant is 4 weeks old and I’m not sure if she’s doing well or not

Thanks. Makes me feel better

I see you figured out how to start your own thread. :+1:
Your plant looks great so far. You may want to keep reading and researching things like watering, lighting, feeding and LST. Lots of very good growers here eager to help you get your best harvest.

Thank you. I will. Next time I’ll have the grow tent and won’t kill my germinating seeds by letting the paper towel dry out :sob:

I did try FIM, but I think I effed it up so I guess that would be FIM²

Did you pinch off the plant to get it to spread? Mine look like a telephone pole. Just started producing 5 leaf instead of 3. How do make it spread out and when and how?

Lighting is the culprit. Too little light and the plant will stretch to search for more ie…telephone pole which can be corrected by moving the light closer or turning the intensity up if you have a dimmer switch. Light with good intensity will keep a plant shorter with tighter node spacing.

If you have android or iPhone download the photone app. It’ll help you get your light intensity dialed in.
Here’s where you should be in each phase of growth.

Yes I did have my light to high and on 1/2 power to begin with. I downloaded the app and for t5 lights it I’d asking me warm light or daylight? I guess I’m supposed to purchase daylight? So if I’m understanding right. If I get the light right then these plants will bush out themselves without topping them?

Use the sunlight setting. It’s the most accurate. If you have iPhone you have to use a paper diffuser

They’ll stop stretching for you. Can you post a few pics?

@The_Chef , I 'm a little nervous about training since she’s an autoflower and I’m such a newbie. Any suggestions?

Looking good man, your going in the right direction. Only on 2nd grow and harvest so new but my 2 cents
The leafs that have marked that are big, take them off, and any other big fan leaves that are blocking your light from reaching the bottom
Then I use cheap fuzzy wire cleaners from dollar store, pull that top over to one side, it will open up more buds sites

Not the best pic, but zoom in plant in back you can see the colors of the wires I used just to spread her out a little bit
