Hi question, we switched to flowering on aug 22, is it too late to trim some leaves, my girls are monsters. We were nervous to take too much off but now regretting not. Thanks!

You can take more off. Most who lollipop will trim the whole bottom 1/3 of the plant on day 21 and 42 of flower

Definitely possible to defoliate during early to mid flower. Just be intentional when you remove leaves.

Where would you suggest we trim on monday? The bottom branches i feel are just sucking nutes from the rest of the plant. Should i only trim leaves or can i trim branches?

Yep I totally understand. I’ll never forget the first-grow jitters. I had em for about three grows. 
After a while you start to understand on a more instinctive level what you’re doing. Until then it won’t really feel comfortable, you’ll just be practicing the motions at the guidance of others and things you’ve read along the way. Don’t ever be afraid to ask anything that comes to mind. I feel that the only stupid question is the one that doesn’t get asked.

Understandable. Look at it this way. What is remaining will benefit from better light penetration and better air movement. And importantly, benefit from having available to it resources that would have been consumed by plant growth that would eventually be discarded later.

Excellent job Growmie, a little more in the middle would help but you did a great job by not taking too much at one time
