Triming/lollipoping during flower

Just a quick question. Is it safe and do all of u experienced growing still lollipop and or lightly trim your plants during the whole flower stage. Im four weeks into 12/12 ofcourse I did a nice haircut before I flipped them and have been triming here and there but now that I’m getting to the point of mostly bud growth is it safe. In moderation of course…I ask because I still have quite bit of little flowers down. On lower branches that don’t get light much. And there are some spots I could trim fan leaves to get a little more light to bud sites. I know that this is the time it kind of stops growing leaves and things so I wouldn’t go crazy I just want to see if people trim the whole way through or if not. At what point should I stop

I just did it to some of my outdoor girls this year and it really helped get bigger buds.

You can continually trim a little here and there anything blocking Bud sights at 21 days of flower a lot of people do a big defoliation keep it trimmed up from there any bud sites being covered you still want some leaves but that gives it more energy to concentrate on buds instead of growing leaves I usually take anything off with a purple stem old fan leaves myself

Up to 21 days or not until 21 days?

A big defaoul at day 21 of flower or right in there and another good cleanup at day 42 and clean fan leaves and that block bud sites throughout the flowering process just don’t get carried away if it’s blocking of bud site remove it you want the bud site to get the light instead of the leaf the buds need the light to grow :v:

Thanks for the clarification. I just switched my girls in the beginning of the week. I did a defoliation but nothing too heavy. But I’ve been pinching off small sucker bud sites that have been popping up and a leaf here and there if it’s in a bad spot. Should I not be doing that and just wait out to the the 21st day? Or am I cool with keep going the that I am now?

I wouldn’t remove any bud sites but I’m not Shure your style of grow is just try and get good light penetration got any pics

One plant I main lined. The other I mani folded. Well the my version anyway. I shaved their legs as they say pretty good probably left too much on the top two thirds on both of them. I trained them best I could to get as even on top as possible.

The last three pictures are today six days into my flip.

I would clean plant up some just clean up old fan leaves so light can get in and air can circulate and at day 21 do a good defol plants look great they are about to start stretching like crazy and explosive growth✌️

Thanks man. I appreciate the feedback back. This the first real indoor grow I’ve done in a very long time. I got through veg with out any major hiccups. I popped two fem seeds that are left standing and all three of regs that I popped with these girls I ended up pulling and just letting them do their thing outside. One grew balls and the other two were definitely getting overtaken by the two girls and we’re definitely not going to reach full potential. Honestly I can’t even imagine having two other plants in there right now. I guess I’m used to outdoors when they have their space to grow. Anyway starting to ramble. Didn’t mean to highjack thank you again for the feedback.

I’m not an expert, but outdoor plant leaves protect your buds from insects, caterpillars, grasshoppers, etc. Keeping close watch, I will observe leaf damage and take care of pests. Realizing large leaves block sun and air flow. It’s a fun process to work. It’s not a clear cut right way. But leaves are a natural protector for the flowers.

Also, one comment mentioned pinching off leaves, IMO, you should always use sharp cutters for this.

Isn’t growing marijuana fun. I think it’s a beautiful plant. The late flower aroma is wonderful.
