1st time grower here and i’m kinda stuck on if i should trim while going into flower or if i should even do it at all….if i do how much when where etc etc etc but if i don’t am i hindering the plant from doing its thing…im one of those analytical types so i tend to overthink things a lot…i see both sides but in the pic you’ll see what i mean and ill try to provide as much info as i can about it…
LSD Autoflower Day 35 and Growing inside a Vivosun SGS425(24X48X60) and i’m using a Aero VSA200SE @ about 50%…i have 5 gallon fabric pots and they all have the bottom third of the pots filled with FF Ocean Forrest and the other 2/3 is Happy Frog and perlite….i water with tap water that’s been ph downd to bout 6.7 and Dr Earths Fertilizer 4-4-4 and has been good to me all throughout veg(1/4 cup throughout top of soil then water every other week give or take a few days)The humidity hovers around 55-65% and i’m running em on an 18/6 light schedule…i currently don’t have a separate fan because the light i have has an inline fan in it so that’s a plus and works great…also have the Aero zesh filter taking in air and i’m wondering if i can still use LST but i kinda lowkey wanna remove all the big fan leaves(at least 8 of em that keep calling me to take em down lol) but then again im not sure if i should wait.I topped once already and that’s about it…i have 3 plants but the one in question is on the right…the one on the left(Cheese) is about 2 weeks older but is lucky to even be this big because from the jump it struggled like bad…i call it my frankenstein because i had to work out my kinks until i got it right so that fact it got this big is wild to me but im learning…the one in the middle is just a few weeks old and should be a lil bigger too but im just havin fun learning…this community is cool been following for awhile and thought id get some opinions…

Only remove fan leaves that are blocking light to bud sites. Leaves are what absorbs light, they are energy receptors! I don’t trim until around the 3rd week after flip, then again around 6 weeks, then should finish without more trimming. I just did a defoliation on my current grow at 4 weeks into flower, they were much bushier than yours though.
I was nervous about all that too for my first grow I finished last month. Mine was very bushy and I only selective picked leaves and cleaned up the center inside some. Mostly picked off any stacking fan leaves that might perspire and leave water between each other. If it’s not blocking good bud sites or restricting airflow to a minimum I left it. To be busier you need to have extra circulation.
Your plant isn’t very bushy so selective prune/trim and listen to @Growdoc

preciate the feedback…im definitely gonna get rid of some of these fan leaves and see how that goes for me
When in doubt, trim 2 or 4- fan leaves when they start to yellow.

Just remember those are the solar panels of your plant! If they’re not blocking light or air circulation, don’t cut them off, that’s energy the plant would use for growth.
quick update for those who still around aaaaand a few questions also…i shoulda started a journal buuuut oh well…plants is doin waaaaay better than i expected….The LSD(far left)is just about done i believe…i ordered a loupe but mail theft is rampant right now so i did my best at trying to get as close as i could to tell when my trichs is turnin amber…im on Day 78 and im all organic so i don’t plan on flushing(lmk if i should)last time i gave nutes was last sunday and im thinkin ill water maybe one more time this weekend and then ill stop for the final lil 2 week last stand before harvest…maybe 3 idk we’ll see
Turns out my cheese is a photo and not an auto…as soon as i flipped boy it shot through the roof…very satisfied with everything…cept for the bruce banner on the right…like 3 days after my original post i laid it down to train and i stressed it into flower at like 20 sum days🤦🏾♂️ lol oh well still gonna put it to use
