If they look good, probably not necessary, but won’t hurt either.

Probably not necessary if they looking good definitely should not hurt anything.
Infact, depending on the source of cal-mag you use, it possible has some N in it also and I like the idea of a little boost of “instantly available N” just after flip for the stretch
As they streach it can be alot of biomass built in a short time so imho, it want hurt but it “could” help
