Has anyone built a grow room or something probably smaller? A closet or a grow tent would be easier. Definitely would have to be careful not to break. Seems like that would take indoor lighting to the reflective maximum. Seems like it would definitely mess with your eyes ( in a bigger setups). Seems like a serious grow setup( with lots of $$) would try it . I have a 2×2×4 tent . It will be simple. Wally world sells cheap 12" × 3’ mirrors. I can just put 6 of them in the tent and done.

Most tents come with mylar, which performs similarly to mirrors in most wavelengths. Specialized mirrors (i.e. dielectric) are required to improve on photon reflection over a store bought mirror, which is between 90 to 95% for a store bought, depending on wavelength. Mylar will reflect 90% of light in the visible wavelengths, 90 to 95% in the IR spectrum, and less than 90% in the UV spectrum. A dielectric mirror will reflect 99.999%, but they are very expensive.
Another disadvantage of mirrors is that they do not scatter light the way that mylar will.
There’s not much difference between an effective PPFD of 1,000 vs. a PPFD of 975. I would save your money, as the difference isn’t enough to improve a plant’s performance.
